Huge store right in the town centre, ideal if you don't have a car. You can get nearly anything here. Well laid out shop, good prices on most stuff.
I thought I must have offended the staff that led to them taking 15 mins to make my pizza while I was standing in front of them but fortunately it wasn't personal, just terrible customer service. There was more pressing family matters to discuss instead of dealing with customers.
When you think customer service can't get any worse here, it does. Staff more interested in talking to friends and family than actually doing their job. The pizza deli customer service is genuinely something else.
Loads of frozen chicken lying for a while at least a hour that i witnessed! The boxes where at room temperature so high chance of someone getting food poisoning! Absolutely unacceptable.nnMost of the check out staff have been sacked in favour of machines, Asda has went right downhill in the last few years! This particular store has introduced a sort of turnstile system that resembles a maximum security prison!nnIf you would like a sandwich from the food to go at the entrance you have to enter the store, go up isle one, walk down isle 2 and elbow through the checkouts and walk to the front of the store and do the opposite to pay for your sandwich! Never seen such nonsense in my life.nnThe end goal here is to have a security gaurd and zero staff! Think about the future generations who will be on the dole while machines make the billionaire owners richer.
Big thank you to Louise and colleagues for helping me out when I cut myself on glass vase in store today. All so kind and helpful.
