Halfords - Birmingham Bordesley Store

Moment I came to Halfords to buy a new headlight for my car, the staff was so friendly and he suggest me a good brand headlight bulb for my car, last two times I used Halfords brand headlight it’s relative look cheap but it’s doesn’t have life for more than 3 months.

I visited Halfords in Bordesley Green today and received a first-class service. I popped in to have my side bulb changed on my Volvo V40 and Raees was the technician dealing with me. He was very knowledgable but what impressed me most was that he didn't give up until the problem was fixed. There was a problem with the connection and he had to take the whole headlight out to fix the problem. 30 minutes later he had it all fixed and put back together. If you need a problem solving on your car, ask for Raees, highly recommend him. He's a top guy with time and patience to do the job right.

Excellent customer service from a gentleman named Marcus. My headlights suddenly fused and I went to 3 private garages who were unable to change them as my Audi TT requires the headlight unit to be removed entirely to fit the bulbs. Marcus was fantastic and so helpful. He managed to change the bulbs successfully and showed all the options available to me. His advice was honest and you could tell he has his customers best interest at heart. I am so grateful for the service provided by Marcus and the team at Halfords in Bordesley Green. 5* service. Thank you!!

I ordered socket online and received message to collect the item so I went to collect I was told by a rude white lady to come tomorrow and ignore the message I’ve received. So next day I went this time an Asian miserable lady told me told me again it’s not here with out even looking any where. So I said I needed in emergency to repair some thing if I would have ordered from Amazon I would have had it with me next day with 20% of the price. So I asked plz to cancel my order and send the money to my account and Asian lady said we can’t refund because it’s an exchange what and they refused. I asked their names so I could put a complaint and they said we don’t have to give our names. They think they work in their kitchen absolute shocker Avoid this branch You know you made a mistake coming to this store as soon as you walk in

We had our new interior light bulbs fitted by Raees. He was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service as usual from the Bordesley Green branch.

My husband went into the store to get some goods but was offered a free check if he had become a club member as we were having battery issues. The car was running fine when he got their. They took a while to check the battery and eventually told him that he needed a new battery. All of sudden the car wouldn't start after the checks so he asked if he can get a jump start. The workers had said that the manager at the time could not help, even though the car was working fine before they had done there checks. They said that my husband will have to buy a new battery or a jump start kit. Luckily another customer had helped to jump start the car. A massive thank you to this other person. What kind or service are they providing. My disabled husband had to push the car out by himself from under the cannopy just so the other customer can help jump start the car. They couldn't even help with that. My husband had jump leads with him luckily. What kind of place are they running, leaving a disabled person stranded and coming home with a lot of pain afterwards. My 11 yeard old daughter was also with him. This was around 9:45am on the 19th November 2022. Disgraceful, thats all i can say. According to the manager his was a temp covering, he normally works in the oldbury store.

Wouldn't even give this place a one star my lights went and I got them all changed for 78 pounds which aint cheap a girl came out to do my lights she was more bothered with talking to her colleagues then working on my car. After she changed it some lights weren't even working!! She told me it could be a electrical problem and take it to garage. When I took it to the garage the man did the job in 2 mins!!!! He goes they didn't put the wire in these guys don't even know what there doing considering Halford is a reputable company im ashamed lol. Train your employees or better get experienced staff.

The staff were helpful and tried to help me as best they could, but the computer system for finding car parts using the vehicle registration was a fail,It picked incorrect parts. Thumbs up for the staff , thumbs down for the order picking system

The only good person at that store that delivered good customer service was an Asian man named Adam. The rest of them was treated with little thought.

I discovered this place as soon as I arrived here ad I consider myself as a handy man . I could not find what I want first however I ordered it online and I collected them on the same day from the branch. They have many equipment and hardware and I can tell they are similar to Lewes and ACE in the USA.
