Staff here were amazing, so kind and helpful. We were called several times prior to the day and were allowed to ask any questions we had, we were made to feel at ease with the situation. Upon arrival we were met and taken care of by a very kind bereavement volunteer. Thank you so much everyone, it made a horrible situation so much better.
Impossible to speak to someone. When you do they say they will call back with more information but do not call back. My father died over 7 weeks ago. No new information for 4 weeks now.
My son sadly passed away in January 2019. To date 10th June the inquest has still not been finalised! Whilst I appreciate that there is a national shortage of pathologists, senior coroner Richard Travers is accountable in allowing his appointed officers in providing a sub standard service to mine and no doubt countless other bereaved families .Thus causing further unnecessary suffering and anxiety. Hannah Brown initially handled the proceedings. However, she failed to keep me informed and I had to continually chase for an update myself. In that respect she was totally incompetent! They rarely answer the phone in this office! I complained in April and was promised a call back by office manager Darren Mcinnes. Once again that contact wasn't madeshame on you. Surrey coroners show no compassion or commitment to assist in what is a devastating time for the family. One call was made to update me in May almost 4 months later of which you should be completely ashamed! I dread to think how much longer this wait will go on it is soul destroying!
No stars from me - my mother has been there nearly 2 weeks now. I have left many voicemails and they do not even answer them.
