I ordered a sandwich for my one year old daughter. But after waiting for ages, it turned out that the young ladish staff forgot to hand over the order. Because my daughter became difficult after a long wait, I asked for cancellation and refund. When they offered me to make a take-away sandwich and I said no, they stared at me in a hostile way and talked to me quite rudely. Yes, I got a refund, of course no casual apology. Also when I was ordering, the ladish staff was quite contemptuous, talking to me in a kind of manner, "DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?". But they seemed to be quite pleasant with other local Barnet customers.

Excellent and personal service from the young staff. Perfect coffee served at the correct temperature. Well recommended café in this oasis of quietude!

Fantastic sour dough bread toast with butter and marmalade. Lovely staff. Looking forward to my next visit to Barnet and will be coming back here.

I really like this cafe.The coffee is very good and they serve delicious homemade cakes. They offer a decent selection of toasted sandwiches also, I can highly recommend the tuna and apple☺. The cafe does get very busy when the weather is good as they have a bouncy castle for the kids and a gazebo for anyone who doesn't like to sit in the sun. It is reasonably priced and good value for money

Great place for a coffee and a spot of lunch (the Courthouse Special is especially good). Glad they have the bouncy castle for the kids back again now
