Excellent treatment from start to finish. Within 30 minutes of my 999 call, the paramedics arrived and ran numerous tests. They were so thorough and decided to admit my husband into hospital for further tests. We went straight to an A&E ward, had multiple tests and were discharged after a few hours. We were treated with care by every member of staff. Thank you to them all.
Had to use the A&E and I must say I was really impressed with how they managed my needs.I may of been lucky but it was exemplary all the way . From booking in to eventually dealing with my specific needs was , dare I say as good as ive ever received...
My experience in Southend Uni. hospital right from the beginning was such a comfortable and satisfying I have no words to explain. Specially I would like to give a big shout out to all the staff in the maternity department. All of them were so kind, caring and treated me with love, I can't thank enough. This was my 2nd baby and with my first baby the hospital experience was completely different. I would say it is a huge difference. My bad I don't remember everyone's names except the midwife who were my midwife in the labour room. Georgia Smith thanks for making my labour so smooth and easy. Lots of love to everyone in the maternity department. Keep doing great things ..
Absolutely terrible. Told me I had anxiety for a year, because of heart attack symptoms chest pain, a racing heart, fainting. I'd attend A&E like 40 times over the year, and they would send me home with sleeping pills, telling me to see a psychiatrist whilst I was in tears and terrified - they even tried to ban me from attending A&E which isn't even legal. Turns out my nervous system had shut down, my heart rate isn't controlled by my nervous system anymore and my gastrointestinal tract doesn't work! I have an incurable disease known to occur after COVID, a nervous system disorder, and they tried to tell me I was crazy. For over a year, 40 visits with terrifying symptoms for them to basically laugh at me, undermine me, and act like everything was fine despite my heart rate readings being extremely not OK.
I come in feeling 10% and they gave me painkillers/etc and let me charge my phone cause I don't know the area and now I feel 80% and didn't have to stop every 20 seconds carrying a heavy bag like I did on the way heren, I walked mile n half without stopping, thank u
