From arrival i was greeted with a smile and made to feel comfortable nothing was too much trouble. I was offered hot drinks and biscuits by the nurses and they kept me up to date with everything that was going to happen and, all aftercare instructions explained thoroughly.I had a panic attack after my procedure and the staff were so attentive and kind to me and looked after so well. I cannot thank all the staff enough. Service was exceptional.
Wanting to be free from glasses and contact lenses I had bilateral lens replacement surgery recently. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Prof Myerscough and all the team at Southend private hospital. I can only say how lovely and caring the staff are. The theatre staff and consultants are so kind and put you at ease. The after care is the same making sure you have all you need .I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone

I had cataract surgery at Southend Hospital. The surgeon was Mr Aggarwal. With the grace of God I received the best possible care I could have hoped for by Prof Aggarwal and his team. He was polite, courteous and caring and did a brilliant job of my cataract surgery. Also the supporting staff right from initial preparotory work from nurses to theatre and other support staff, the management; everyone was so kind and nice. I would recommend Southened Private hospital 100 percent to any one who needs eye surgery.
