The experience of my first operation in my life was extremely excellent. All my questions and worries were explained and answered so that I understood.  All the staff from medical care assistant to the surgeon and the staff in between were very helpful and pleasant.nI will return to this hospital for my other eye operation.nExcellent service and a good atmosphere.nI will like to thank everybody in the cataract department.

I had recent cataract surgery. It was a seamless experience from start to finish.  Everybody was so kind, informative and helpful. I had my treatment on the NHS and felt so at ease with the care and when having the procedure.  Wonderful place.

I recently underwent lens replacement surgery at Southend Private Hospital and I cannot praise them enough for the high standard of care I received. Reception staff were friendly and professional, the nursing staff went above and beyond to make me feel at ease, and I would highly recommend my consultant. Professor Myerscough who was very kind and patient, and talked me through everything to help me understand my options and provided continued aftercare until everything settled.nA big thank you to the whole team, you made my experience a great one!

Upon arrival I was immediately made to feel welcome. The ladies on the desk and the nurses were extremely professional and courteous at all times. Mr Myerscough is a brilliant consultant and I felt totally at ease throughout the procedure.

Excellent from start to finish. I was treated with kindness, courtesy and the highest quality of care. Aftercare queries by telephone were easy and efficiently handled leaving me feeling valued and reassured.
