Spen five hours on Dowsett Ward, barely able to walk and struggling to breathe, see by a very junior doctor, no treatment at all, told i had a runny nose and sent home with indigestion tablets ... needing to seek help urgently elsewhere. No wonder this hospital is recorded as having one of the highest death rate in the country, the total lack if any care is appalliing.

Would give no stars if I could. My mum had to wait over an hour to be seen on oncology only to be seen by the doctor for 3 minutes and without being examined. All he told her was that her blood was ok. Didn't answer any of her questions. The doctor was very pleasant though but must have been very busy. And my mum is 80 years old and she felt that she was a burden to the NHS.

Depends on which ward your on, short stay parking an hour or so very expensive, and like all hospitals it's all about making money
