I must say that I had the best time in Athens staying at this hotel. I don't think I have ever felt comfortable to walk bare feet in a hotel room before, ans it is because I felt safe and amazed by the cleanliness of the place. The rooms are stunning and the shower is great. There is not much to say about the TV, only that it was huge. It is only 3 minutes walk yo the metro station and tou can pretty easy get anywhere you want in no time. Delicious breakfast and a romantic rooftop bar with a great view of Athens Rooms: Large rooms and very clean
This is a 2 star hotel def not 5. Air conditioning does not work in the room. Minimal amenities. Staff are nice but not reliable. We ordered taxi for a certain time but did not arrive. Breakfast is pretty decent but DEFINITELY not a 5 star quality. Not sure how they call themselves 5 stars. I’m American- maybe this is the Greek 5 star standard which is equivalent to 2 in the United States.
Beautiful hotel, would definitely recommend staying! Staff, rooms and breakfast selection is good too! Hotel is round the corner from the main street. So easily accessible to shops and food etc.. My only fault would be, the pool is closed due to it being outdoor, it could be used as a heated pool in winter and the indoor "jacuzzi/hot tub" is literally only a bath with jets and can only be used one person at a time. Not really the standard for a 5 star hotel. But we didn't mind as we were there for a short time.
Great hotel with beautiful rooms, a lovely rooftop bar and friendly staff. We stayed here for a week with a group of 16 people and really enjoyed it. From the booking to the check out the team was patient, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also a big plus, with a fantastic variety of local and international options.Rooms: 5/5
Nice sushi and view, great music. The breakfast was tasty too. Special thanks for the staff they were always friendly, helpful and smiling. Oh yeah and let’s not forget...The bed is so comfy, so soft I didn’t wanted to get out from it. Rooms: 5/5
A very nice hotel, at a very reasonable price, for those spending a few nights in Athens, who have a car. The location is not one of the best, but it offers peacefulness. The rooms are quiet, extremely nice and comfortable and very clean and well equipped. We spent a very pleasant and quiet night here and would choose to come back again.
A really not nice and kind hotel that was looking for a way to get rich at our expense unfairly. I booked a room at the Green Suites hotel for five days for my mother and me with the option of paying when you arrive and I put credit details for 'guaranteeing the reservation' because that's how it should have been done according to the booking requirement. Already during the flight my mother did not feel well. When we arrived in Athens we couldn't find the hotel and it was already late so we went to *another* hotel we found, which was close to us. At breakfast the next day, I get a message from Booking that green swit canceled our reservation because we didn't arrive and charged no less than the full price!! 405€!! We went to the Green Suites and explained to them that mom wasn't feeling well, so we went somewhere else and that they would only charge us for the first day, but there was hardly anyone to talk to, even after we asked not to charge us the full price but only for one day or alternatively to give us the option to stay in the hotel for the 4 days What we have left in Athens, if in any case they charge us the full price, they did not agree to accept any alternative and charged us the full price for all five days, even without being there even one day. I do not recommend coming to this hotel at all. Service is not at all courteous and polite and the hotel is looking for ways to make a profit without giving a return. I can understand you charging me for the first night we didn't arrive. But the next day we came in person and explained that because mom wasn't feeling well and because we couldn't find you, we went to another hotel, and you didn't even offer the option of staying with you and charged us for all 4 nights, not just the first night which in reality we weren't even one night with you. You "kindly" told us to wait a few days and then see what to do. A few days later when indeed the transfer from Booking reached you then you showed your true face and denied everything. It is clear to you that in Israel we warn against you on every possible platform. That's not how you get customers.
I fortunately would not be able to recommend Green Suits to anybody. I believe the building looks 5 star but that’s where it ends. I took my fiancé there over new years for 2 nights as it was his birthday. I requested in advance rose petals on the bed and they did have a rose on the table when we arrived but that was as far as the ‘above and beyond service’ went. I also requested in advance breakfast room service for my fiancé on his birthday and on arrival at check in, with no discretion, he was passed a piece of paper to fill out his breakfast choices for the room service he would receive in the morning which I believe was distasteful. I also requested in advance a massage anytime over the 3 days of stay for my fiancé and asked again twice at the lobby, yet non of the staff got back to me. The smart TV did not have Netflix nor could we set up screen mirror as it only supported Android. I was surprised that YouTube was also not premium and interrupted with adverts for viewing pleasure. At some stage we took a taxi out and could not return as we did not have cash and taxis were not accepting cards. We called the hotel to ask if they could settle our taxi and charge us - or order us a taxi which to both they were unable to. We were received with what felt like an attack from the receptionist on return to the hotel. We ordered from their sushi menu they leave in the room and were told there was no sushi at all. We then placed an order and were charged 10 euro for room service which is a bit excessive in my opinion. The dessert portions are MASSIVE and it would have been nice to be told it would be more than enough to share as aposed to wasting to unfinished deserts. They also make no attempt to collect plates. Anyways we checked out early skipping the breakfast. I have stayed at better 3 star hotels and I believe it’s a waste of money.
Generally I am very exited by green suites hotel. All the staff are very polite, hotel upgraded my room as a gift due to season for free I guess, breakfast was warm and tasty but one negative is that I saw more options for vegan breakfast than for a simple human that I am. But its okay cause there was bacon, eggs, juice, pizza, omelet, muffins etc which were enough for my breakfast! The bed was very comfortable, I loved the eco character of this hotel, room was high aisthitic and all was very clear. Oh the only one negative is that in the room theres no sugar for my coffee but when I asked by reception a very sweet girl delivered sugar very fast! Good job guys keep going like this! I am Greek and I stayed here for my anniversary with my man and we were very pleased!
This has to be the worst 5 stars hotel I’ve been in the WORLD. This hotel has 5 stars only because of its accommodation, the people at the reception which is supposed to be the representation of the hotel will ruin your stay. I had the feeling that I had to beg for them to do their job. I am in the hotel industry myself and I have an understanding of certain things. They are not welcoming, not professional, not friendly at all, and not helpful. If you feel miserable, give them a visit and they will show you how being really miserable looks like, those has to be the saddest people ever working in the industry. If you are a foreigner, you do not even exist to them, so do yourself and get an airbnb you’ll have a better experience.
