Best venue ever! My girlfriend had her 30th here - the Great Guns Social team were SO accommodating, communicative, and just made us/her feel so special. If I could rate these guys 6 stars I would. The food was delicious, the staff were so attentive during our meal, and not only did we receive a few more free bottles of wine on the house, they even gave us ice and limes when we told them we were continuing the celebrations back at our flat. Can’t recommend highly enough - THANK YOU so much for making our evening so unforgettable!!
Pepa, Beni and the team at Great Guns Social ensured we had an amazing evening for a work networking event. They were so accommodating, nothing was a problem for them and they worked hard to find a solution for all of our requests- no matter how big or small. In the run up to the event Pepa communicated wonderfully and helped to understand our requirements and what she could do for us. The venue was very reasonably priced and a really great, central location if you’re coming from the city. All of our guests commented on the amazing food, and even more on the amazing staff. As this was my first time planning a work event on this scale, I was slightly nervous however as soon as I met Beni and saw the venue, this took all the stress away. He made sure the evening ran seamlessly without any added concerns and went above and beyond to make the evening stress free, fun and memorable for everyone.
A beautiful gem, amazing cocktails, delicious locally sourced food and Beni is so accommodating and hospitable. The place is tastefully decorated and has great pop up restaurant events. Can’t wait for another fun night at this gem of a place.Food: 5/5
Lovely place - can't fault the food which was flavourful, the staff who were friendly and knowledgeable or the cocktails which were quaffable. Slightly off the beaten track, we'd been years ago when it was Goldfinch's. It's quite handy for Southwark Playhouse. Slightly expensive, so may do well if they did a couple of specials, but the half-price cocktail happy hours helped! Will go back!
We hired the main room for our Christmas party for the entire day. There were 22 of us, and there was ample space! The venue is lovely decorated, classy, warm and cosy, and most importantly clean! Toilets are clean and have luxury hand soap and hand lotion! The staff were great! The 2 guys were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating! They helped set up the room perfectly, and had the table plan sorted, which mean not faffing around who ordered what! There is also karaoke machine for hire - it is not a cheap one and come with good sound defo helps for those high notes! The food was very tasty! Good Christmas menu selection, catering for vegans and gluten free too! Would recomend and would come here again! Thanks Great Guns team!
Some of the best food in London at a cool location - brilliant cocktails, stylish decor and really friendly staff. The kitchen rotates pop ups every few months; so there's always something new to try. The current pop-up, Fodder, serve delicious and innovative modern British 'pub tapas' - the chef's fine dining roots are evident, and original and nostalgic plates with locally foraged ingredients really set them appart in London's pop-up scene. Highly recommended: try the kimchi bloody mary or the smokey old fashioned served in a small vial to pour over ice - they rock!

I have to give a great shout out to Ash Who is by far the most knowledgable bartender I have met, his knowledge of the menu and the history of the bar is second to none. The bar is casual, yet sophisticated, with moonlighting to make you feel as if you are drinking in the heart of the city. The contrast between the dark woods and the deep blacks of the walls is a welcome sight compared to many of the city's more over-lit establishments. with a plethora of choice the bar has spared no expense on quality of the spirits, from plantation rums being absolutely amazing to unique home made spirits this bar is a passion of love than your run-of-the-mill bars. For anyone who likes refined cocktails, warm and pleasant company, and a bar all about quality, this is defiantly the place to be.

I held my joint 50th birthday here with a friend and had an amazing time! Venue was fantastic and they were happy for us to add some decorations although the decor was already very nice. Staff were very attentive and were happy for us to visit several times before to make arrangements. The food was delicious and got lots of compliments and they were happy for us to bring our own cakes. We played a Spotify playlist through their speakers but they also offered to arrange a DJ if we’d wanted this. Would definitely recommend Great Guns Social for anyone hosting an event - it was perfect for our needs!
