Have found a clean, comfortable and very friendly place to stay on our regular trips to Grangemouth. Beds are very comfy and a great breakfast to set you up for the day! Would recommend it!

I stayed here for 2 days in the middle of August. And quite simply, it's a jewel in the town of Grangemouth. The host was very welcoming coming out to meet me at my car as soon as I arrived. The ensuite room I was put in was fantasic. The ensuite bathroom was the right size. And the beds. Oh the beds were absolutely fantastic. I've had the best night sleep I had for sometime. The beds were lovely and soft, so comfortable you would struggle to get up. The location of Grangeburn House is also great. There is a bus stop outside for services to Falkirk. But the town centre is down the road, where I was advised by the host that there is a Wetherspoons should I wish to partake in having my tea there. There is also an ASDA supermarket around the corner too. The town of Grangemouth is roughly in the middle of the Central Belt. It's around a 45 minute drive to centre of Edinburgh or Glasgow (mind if heading to Edinburgh I advise parking at Ingleston Park and Ride and getting a day ticket for bus and tram for a low price). Also places such as Stirling and Dunfermline aren't too far away either. As is many towns in the central belt. There is also many places of interest in the area. It's only a few minute drive to Falkirk Football Ground and the Kelpies (Two Metal Horses rising out of the ground), and it's about 15 minutes away from the Falkirk Wheel. Also to the East there's the Bo'ness Railway and a bit further along the Forth is the town of South Queensferry with excellent views of the bridges. The only reason I can think of why not to stay at this delightful guesthouse is that it's fully booked up for when you want to stay.
