I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. I have the distinct impression that it normally serves as a hotel catering to short term workers in the town but it was far better than that makes it sound. We were allocated a large, comfortable room with all the amenities for which you could ask. Meals were served either in the bar/ restaurant for the evening or the restaurant for breakfast. Both meals were superb. If you want a nice getaway, particularly with easy access to the Kelpies, you won't go far wrong.

Stayed three times on business trips: - Great staff. - The rooms are hit-and-miss, but generally rather nice. Had two delightful rooms and one really shabby room. One was hot, one was cold, one was just right. All rooms had something in need of repair. - Impressive bathroom sizes, generally. - Great dinner at good prices. - Parking is plentiful, but most of the spaces are tiny and weird.

Lovely room and people. Plumbing needs looking at in the room, others had complained about it but it still hadn't been sorted. Food was amazing.
