Do not trust this company with any repair or service.  Go direct to the manufacturer.  They tried to charge me £150 to repair a watch that cost £195 and was only 27 months old.  I tried telling the person in the shop that Tissot being a quality would help in a good way even if out of warranty and he said no way at all but he could take 10% off the price that he was saying was the price Tissot were quoting.  I decided to go direct to Tissot and they for £32 covered a new battery service and mail costs.  They were shocked when I told them how much the shop had quoted.  I then phoned the shop to ask why they had told me the price they were quoting me was from Tissot & all they could say is I'm surprised they did it for that price as if Tissot for some rare occasion were treating me extremely well.  Its very clear that Goldsmiths add a huge % mark up and just reading a few reviews here its clear to see this is there standard practice.  I'm just happy 83% of the reviews here are either bad or poor.  I imagine losing customers at a vast rate so look out for them being the next high street store to close its doors.

My fiancè & i went into the Victoria Centre in Nottingham on saturday afternoon to visit the shop there, and across the road in the pedestrian area looking for wedding bands.

Unfortunately, what should be a exciting time for the both of us, i have to say the experience was not a enjoyable one.
The staff at both outlets were lacking considerably in enthusiasm along with a lacklustre attitude, which resulted in them losing a considerable sale & with us taking our business to Neweys in the jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.
Here we were made to feel welcome & appreciated where the staff made us feel as though nothing was to much, no matter how small the detail. We sealed the deal there & then at half the price Goldsmiths were offering.

Went in today to ask if my watch strap could be adjusted and was served by Chris. I found Chris to be very personable and helpful. He is a credit to your brand.

I went  into the Nottingham Victoria Centre Branch to have a link taken out of my Tag watch, the staff were very helpful and it only took a few minutes.
