Worse hotel experience of my life. I have travelled the world and stayed in third world villages in the Amazon that had better service than this. When we arrived we were presented with a locked door with a sign to call a mobile number to check in, which we did, from two different phones for half and hour. Finally the manager answered and made it sound like we were disturbing him. Upon check-in the manager was extremely rude and aggressive, threatening to evicit us if we didn't do exactly as he said. He demanded a ID card yet there was no mention of it before, luckily I had one in my email, I asked the manager about his data protections policy and he had no idea what j was talking about, they just store them all on a local computer and never destroy them. We were handed the keys to what a room that the manager had picked out especially for us. It had a leaking shower, dirty sheets, no soundproofing and a window that wouldn't close. This window faced a road that I can only describe as a boy racer practice track. The noise was unbelievable. We ended up leaving the hotel to go elsewhere at 1:30am even though we had paid for three nights. Do not stay at this 'Hotel'... A cardboard box under a bridge would be a step up.
Nice clean room. Friendly staff member at reception. Although the locked door on arrival and need to phone manager for check in isn't very welcoming. And the noise!! Yes it's on a main road but the windows do nothing to block it out. Boy racers up and down the street until the early hours. Seems to be some sort of meeting place for them.
I would give zero rating for this hotel. My boyfriend booked a room there on the first of February 2018 and he had terrible experience. There in no receptionist at all. The main door of the hostel is always closed and there is a number you have to call for everything you want; to check in and check out. The room was smelly and the shower was broken and leaky and when my friend called the number for the shower the hostel guy told him yes, there is a problem in the shower. The sink also was leaky. There ia no kitchen in this Hostel.
This place was really nice and clean ,the bed was really comfortable, very cheap as well which is a bonus better that other hotels costing slot of money for nothing .i would really recommend this to anyone that is looking for something cheap nice and clean.the staff was really so helpful as I couldn't check out as required but they still let me off ,so greatful for that !!i really had an amazing stay ..I can assure you won't regret staying here .will definitely visit again. The corridor was quiet, that means peaceful sleep, tea marker that's super great laminated floor and white furniture it just makes it cosy ..the bus stop is literally 30 seconds from the place and you could also walk to town not very far ..there is also a free parking space.
Not very comfy and in a loud location if you get a room facing onto the road. But for the price you pay, it's not a bad place. Stayed twice, had to be moved due to window not fitting into the frame and it being no help against the elements, each room is in varied state of quality. This is defiantly budget accomodation. But if you just need somewhere to lay your head then it'll do.
This is no 5-star accommodation but at £30/night on a bank holiday it is very cheap and it's comfortable and well located. I laugh at the thought of people voting this 1-2 star because it is clearly no frills cheap and I mean, no frills, so what else is expected? Firstly, a comfy double bed, tea and coffee making and a good shower with soap provided. Quiet in the outside corridor and a room facing backwards needed with Bradford boy racers revving til past midnight on Great Horton Road. A 5-min walk away from the famous Mumtaz restaurant up the road. No bedside lamps, no TV, lugging your bags up 2-3 floors, a dodgy looking car park at the rear, no breakfast, one bedside table. But heh, I'd still return because it is comfortable, cheap and convenient.
Clean room. Very basic but that's reflected in the price. Electric shower dial was around the wrong way, cold is hot and vice versa. Check in was a nightmare. Had to wait until the check in guy was finished having dinner in some local restaurant - he arrived after about 45mins.
Hotel was closed down. Chains on the door. Saw a review from Aug 2018 that said the same, yet the hotel was still listed on LateRooms. Double-check with hotels before you book on these sites that they are definitely open.
Well where shall I start from, booked a family room with 2 young kids, when I got to my room it was a room with only double bed, went bk to reception to let the guy know but he said the family rooms are fully booked but they have charged me for a family room, the manager wasnt available but i got told he will be coming for 6,and than when I turned the shower on the water was absolutely boiling after waiting for 15 mins it was still the same, so went bk to reception to complain but the guy said the manager knows about the shower but he hasn't done anything about it, the bottom line is don't waste your money coming here. I don't usually leave bad reviews when I go anywhere cos I havnt had the reason to do so but this place doesn't even deserve 1 star, and am hoping to get some kind of refund cos I paid for a family room and the shower want working.
Well where do I start, the room itself looked like it was furnished by Stevie Wonder himself, the joinery work was dreadful, Stevie himself could join a skirting board better than who ever skirted that room, the room was awful, the bed was terrible, I booked the room last minute for my partners birthday, I surprised her with rose petals around the room with a bottle of champagne ina bucket on the bed also the bed was awful, I wanted to plough through her like a train but as the bed may as well have been made by match sticks it looked like it was ploughed onto by a train the morning after, the noise was terrible also, the window was broken so I’m guessing stevie wonder also fitted it, all I heard all night was rented DSG cars flying up and down the street and Asian lads arguing, probably about who’s turn it is next in the rented Audi S3, the hotel is okay if you jus want a place to stay, so lads from my experience don’t take your lass here
