Walked in for a haircut, sat there and didn’t take more than five minutes to be served hence the second star. The lady who served me did the consultation and all told me that they didn’t have the hair clippers at that moment and if I was fine with scissors at which I positively replied (hoping that by £29 they must have been mentored by Vidal Sassoon). As the haircut was getting close to its completion I noticed that the neck hair wasn’t trimmed at all as well as the sideburns and the hair size was shorter than I requested (I believe that I was clear on the size i wanted) Upon finishing the haircut I didn’t even noticed that she finished because of the reason described above which left me disappointed. I’m a bit guilty here as I should have told them that it wasn’t good enough especially when you get charged £29 and the least they could do was make me a discount due to lack of hair clippers and consequent dip in quality but they didn’t.. I have nothing against the charge, provided it came on the same package with a good haircut and hence the pain I felt when the money was taken from me. With £29 they could have bought a damn hair clipper! To sum up, if you’re a male, there are better and cheaper options out there on Uxbridge (who also happen to have hairclippers).

Really disappointed with this salon. Booked an appointment and when I turned up I was told the stylist did not work there anymore. No one called to tell me, even had message the day before to remind me about the appointment!!!! No apology about their mistake and did not try and rectify it. Very unprofessional service. There are many other better salons nearby. Avoid at all costs!

Wrecked my hair. Took so long to grow and it was ruined by a bad bleach. All snapped off. I dont think it will ever grow back the same Really upset. Would sue if i could. Do not go here under any circumstances

Lost my business. I've been using Giner Group for years, and give them their due, the haircuts have always been good. Today, I arrived for my 4pm appointment (booked earlier in the day), then sat for 25 minutes while 2 hairdressers just sat and chatted, mostly about theirs and other's boob size discrepancies. After 25 minutes, I simply walked out and went 2 minutes down the High Street to another hairdresser - no wait, half the price. Bye Ginger Group!

Echoing the negative reviews, which is a shame as my stylist was both friendly and professional. The reason I'll never be going back stems from the attitude of her colleague who sounds remarkably like the person named in another bad review on this page. A few weeks back I went to have a haircut. There were five people in the salon, one of whom was myself plus another client. Half way through my cut it was evident that the lady next to me was having some difficulty with her stylist. Sat there with wet hair, the stylist was curtly informing her customer that she'd been clear in how she would carry out the style and that had the customer have thought otherwise, then she should have said so earlier. The customer, calmly and politely, agreed that perhaps she should have been clearer. Some moments later the stylist approached the person tending to me, announcing that she couldn't continue and could she take over. Nevermind the fact that she was busy with her own client. She then disappeared through a door leaving her customer, myself and her colleague all staring at each other. At this point her client started to cry. Stroppy stylist reappeared to further lay into her client, claiming that she had been spoken down to which was complete nonsense, in fact it was she that was being rude and condescending. When the customer quite rightly protested, she was accused of shouting. She wasn't shouting, she was sticking up for herself and getting nowhere. Then, as if she was no longer in the room, the stylist said to her colleague that it was fine if she didn't want to pay and that she could leave. Again, she was still sat with soaking wet hair. I'm assuming that by giving this instruction, she was in charge that afternoon which makes the situation even more staggering. I did write to the manager to complain but received no response hence posting on here. Respect for paying customers is clearly in short supply at Ginger Group Uxbridge. Whoever that stylist was needs to deal with some issues as, right now, she's in the wrong profession. You can take your chances, the person I had was great. However, she was put in a very difficult position juggling two customers at once. Thought it was supposed to be a pleasant activity?? Ours wasn't. I'll be avoiding in the future. There's enough stroppy in your face teenagers on the streets, why on earth would anyone want to pay for the experience from a grown woman in a supposedly reputable salon?! Joke.
