Thank you for a lovely evening Galoupet team! The kitchen offered us 'tapas' dishes which were of a mixed style - plenty of asian and mediterrean flavours, all with an interesting twist. In particular, the scallops fused with garlic, coriander and chilli, were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. All the wines we tried were exemplary, with most of the suggestions working very well with the dishes. Try the 2007 Mas la Mola Priorat with the steak and harissa - absolutely divine! The food and especially the wine were quite expensive, so for us, Galoupet will be a restaurant for special occassions. That said, they offer the ability for some tasting of serious wines via an ingenious wine serving system which allows for higher end wines normally served by the bottle, to be opened and remain fresh - all self-dispensible via a easy to use charge card. We will be back!
