Second time coming Rivea and just can’t stop loving the food. Amazing Ambiance and perfect for that fine dining evening with your wife. The staff were extremely polite and give you a 5 star treatment. I love their toilets man bloody hell its well kept. Overall excellent place to come once in a while as the prices are really high but worth it.
An afternoon well spent with a group of friends....everything was perfect....large open restaurant.....great bar area......food served and taste amazing. Great ambience will go back for afternoon tea....
Great dining experience. The food is excellent and so is the service. The decor is beautiful. Make sure you get a reservation!
The first view you noticed while walking down the circled stairs is that wonderful lightning setting and surroundings at The Rivea. Modern elegance blend with dark walls and impressive mirrors. A perfect ambiance for a night out meal. The staff had a great knowledge of what was served through out my meal and the food was a prove of their words. I truly enjoyed the aubergine caviar starter, wish it was more smoked as for flavor but it did stand out a lot. Brill, green asparagus for main was not 100% on the level of starters but was enjoyable. However, the main star of my meal was their dessert, Lemon shortbread, limoncello sorbet served with a lemon liquor which totally satisfied my views of their set menu, truly truly delightful. Have I forgot the bread? not in a million years... a society of different home made breads, each one complimenting the other. Perfect !! for me the one standing out, the lemon bread that gave me an insight of their dedication towards bakery.
Supremely decorative and gives you the “Wow” factor as soon as you step in. Booking essential for this elegant showroom of a restaurant. The food is exactly as you would expect, smaller sized portions but more than sufficient to satisfy your hunger. We came a s largish group and no one had a negative thing to say about anything so that says it all really. Very attentive service despite being extremely busy, food freshness, presentation and taste all perfect. All in all, a place you could take anyone without worrying whether they’re going to enjoy it or not.
Stylish setting with fairly modern decor. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food is a mix of French and Italian maybe 60% Italian. Great variety of starters but a bit less so for mains, especially if you are less into seafood. All the dishes looked pretty and tasted great. The wine list focusses on French and Italian wines and has a good choice of affordable bottles for a restaurant of this level.
Cannot and will not fault thus place. Everything was as you would expect from a brand such as Bvgari. Honestly the decor was so seductive warm and inviting. The restaurant had the glamour of silver screen yesteryear... whilst still managing to be modern. The service was again that silver standard!! The food ... well all I can say is try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I would love to have my wedding reception here. That is how much I truly enjoyed being in this environment.
Classy atmosphere but the food taste doesn't match the 5 star interior and service
Bvlgari is a difficult brand to spell and pronounce and that sums up my dining experience here last night. The first warning sign was that it took 3 phone calls to book the table. But I recently bought the new Bvlgari perfume and wasn't about to abandon my faith in the brand just yet. Both myself and the person I was dining with were also reassured in advance that valet parking would be available. So as fans of the valet parking experience it was a soul crushing disappointment when we drove up on a quiet Sunday evening and were turned away from the valet parking empty handy. Since there were no spare valet slots we were forced to desperately roam the cold dark streets for a spare space that didn't require a residential parking permit. • The menu was a riddle to understand. We had to be talked through almost every item by the waitress. Since she had a strong accent we struggled to understand her which made it only worse • The food was awful. The starters looked like dog poo and cat vomit • Vegetables looked like they had been taken straight out of a garden allotment • The cod was inedible and bland • We had to ask for food not on the menu • The receipt took hours to get, if we never asked for it we could've been there until xmas It was like an episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares which is ironic given it's a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The things we enjoyed: • They delivered me a surprise birthday cake. This was well executed and I had no signs it had been arranged • Luxury, lavish decor throughout the building. Great for photos and selfies • Friendly service
We had the seasonal set 'chestnut' menu which was delicious. Brsutiful setting. However for the price point it didn't quite make it. They didn't have the champagne we asked for off the menu. When we went to the bar for a cocktail they again didn't have what we asked For, off the menu. Lacked polish. Disappointing
