Gallery Mess, owned by The Saatchi Gallery is a 132 seater restaurant and bar located at Duke of York’s HQ in Chelsea. Both the interior and the outside terrace (additional 60 seats) are breathtaking spaces and feature some fabulous contemporary art.

Just love this place - one of my favourite places to eat in Chelsea. Had an artichoke, spinach, and parmesan pasta dish which was exquisite, and some beautiful buttered roasted carrots on the side. Cool decor, pleasant service, and a lovely bright space!
Every time I am in London I make it a “thing” to go to Saachi Gallery after having a quick bite at Gallery Mess. I’ve done a couple of times already. Sometimes I just sit for a cappuccino that is also delicious, other times I’ve sat outside with some friends, and another time I did some work inside while sipping wine. I love their French fries and their rosé wine selection. It’s hard to not get succumbed for one more glass while watching people coming and going from the Gallery next door. This time around I had the pleasure to meet Mario, the manager of the place. We had a nice talk and my food was delicious. They offer 10% discount for Saachi Gallery’s members.
Nice outdoor place to get a drink. We ordered teo gin and tonics that were supposed to be doble. Not at all. Average London price for drinks. Staff is very nice though, and they allowed us to build our own gin and tonic.
The place is lovely, we had an afternoon tea previously booked and sandwiches, scones and other pastries were really nice. One waiter though... he was so unpleasant!
Absolutely disgraceful service. The outside was apparently closed in the beautiful sunshine. So we werent alloud proper mugs and had to drink out of cardboard. They got my order wrong. I asked for an Americano and I got a cappucino. Lucky the sun was out
A smart restaurant alongside the Saatchi Gallery in London. It is advisable to book a table here. The menu is extensive and the stasf highly efficient. Delicious food produced really quickly.Next door is the prestigious Saatchi gallery which has various exhibitions throughout the year.
Nice food. Fresh and tasty. Good wines. A bit posh but all round good value and friendly staff.
Very pleasant for coffee and drinks, inspiring artwork. Food is however rather average and overpriced.
Pretty average. Service was okay, they didn’t really know the food when asked but did make an effort to keep our drinks topped up. We were a big party. Food was distrincly average and actually underwhelming vs. price. We may have made the error of going of the set menu but a ‘braised leeks’ starter turning up cold, which is just odd and a little lazy. Duck for main was nice but honestly again I have had so much better. Setting is lovely and a fun night with friends but for £85 for a couple, I would have expected more.
Not only me to feel that the service is too bad But Eaton Mess is not too bad, in fact I had never eaten it before
