Gadebridge Park in Hemel is an absolute delight on a sunny day! The vibrant greenery, serene lake, and picturesque pathways create the perfect backdrop for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing picnic with friends and family. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, making it a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend visiting to soak up the sunshine and enjoy nature's beauty at its finest!
Absolutely beautiful.. in fact breath taking gorgeous. Skate / bike area for youngsters. Cycle track around the park .. parking is FREE all day. Was so gorgeous definitely going back better prepared
It's one of the most beautiful parks, suitable from a toddler to an aged person. One can have a wonderful day out, with some lovely restaurants near by.nThere's a beautiful display of vibrant colourful flowers on the streets of the Old Town.nA perfect day out! Just would like to remind, the toilets in the park are not fit for the purpose.
It's a lovely park with vast green spaces, and lovely river running through it. It's got the best playground in the area. It's got great quality areas for all ages. Big wooden obstacles to climb on, several slides and swings. Separated toddler area with big sand area, slides etc. And a great newly built splash park right next to the playground. Picnic tables area available too.
What a wonderful place to relax, unwind & let the kids run riot!!nSeriously, this is a vast area to lose yourself in with ample facilities for children to let off steam, there's a café for light bites, drinks & ice creams too. All in all just a good place to be, just to relax and watch the world go by.nThe only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the public conveniences were closed, seemingly for good. Probably due to repeated vandalism and/or drug taking or other nefarious acts - as is common in such places in this day & age, otherwise it could have scored higher, but as it stands the park is an excellent facility and apparently well used by many.nI should add that there was an almost total absence of dog excrement, which was a very nice surprise in such an area - it would seem that the dog owners of Hemel Hempstead are, for the most part, a conscientious bunch, well done!!
