Recently l visited this beautiful garden in Watford. The garden is informal and a lot of the garden is dedicated to wildlife. I really liked this garden and l found it very relaxing. You will find a small carpark here and a toilet.
These gardens are lovely. If you want to go for a walk or make nice pictures this is the right choice. It is a very photographic place!
Been coming here for more than 40 years it's stunning and well kept,it's a oasis in busy world it's one of those wow places must go
Its a nice small garden packed with beautiful seasonal flowers, shrubs and trees. There is a small car park with few disable spaces. Good place to take children there for a picnic. There is a lawn at the front and benches scattered at various location in the garden. Toilet available too.
Mid April Visit - Plenty of varieties of trees and plants from all over the world. A sequoia tree which is magnificent. A beautiful local garden with free entry. Check opening times as they are later than in summer than winter. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Can get a little bit busy at times though.
Well kept gardens with a wide collection of plants and secret paths. Great space to get lost in. Dogs are allowed and an a WC is provide. The birds and fish are amazing.
Accidental found this little garden when searching for something else. Small but well kept garden with a nice little pond. Good selection of plants which would give interest throughout the year. It also has a small aviary.
A really beautiful almost hidden garden. Lots of wildlife, birds and fish. I had the honour of rescuing a harvest mouse who fell in the pond. I won't forget the visit in a hurry!
Beautiful house and gardens from the small bit I saw I didn't research enough and this is not a good place to come to with a buggy. Walking children and everyone else will love it though. Beautiful aviary with some interesting coloured birds, great pond with some big fish and lots of beautiful flowers, of which I'm sure they'll be more over the coming months. Full of bluebells now, in April. I will come here when my children can walk longer distances because it looks so interesting to explore and is such a peaceful place. Small car park but I think if you're early it's fine and I think there's is road parking nearby. Great for a peaceful, colourful stroll.
Lovely secret garden & woodland tucked away behind a beautiful old house in Watford. There is an aviary & large pond with koi carp as well as woodland trails to explore & pretty flowers. Something for everyone & well worth a visit.
