Fantastic park for kids, 1 min walk from Watford tube station or there is a pay and display car park. The best feature is a newly refurbished water park with 3 paddling pools and sprinklers. We spent a whole day there and felt like on holiday. Bit busy on Sunday but big enough to accommodate. Chocolate ice cream in the cafe was a bliss! Massive playground next to the pools with a zip wire.

This is a great park for walking. There is plenty of green to relax and enjoy. The canals are specially beautiful and the walk along side them is exciting and rewarding. The only problem are the cyclists passing by. It is a great place to visit and enjoy a relaxing walk.

It was crowded during holidays and there was an attendant doing crowd control. Great place for kids to play and adults to sunbathe. There main fountains. Enough space for children to run away. Cafe, changing rooms and toilets available. Parking was a problem. Very limited space. We had to park very far away near the library and walked 40 minutes to the pool.

We took the kids here so that they could go to the water play park as it was a hot day. Unfortunately it was closed as the chlorine level was wrong. We then queued for ice creams etc at the kiosk only to find that the shorter queue we had joined was for collections not for ordering - no signs at all! The kids then resorted to splashing about in the river with all the dogs. Hopefully things will be better next time.

I love this park. Something for everyone and an easy place to spend a day. The splash pads and kids' play areas are the best I've ever seen and the train rides are a great little addition. The actual park is massive and with water and plenty of green space, it's got everything you could want in a park. The cafe was the only disappointment. It's new though, so perhaps waiting for 30 minutes for a sandwich isn't normal.
