Man.....what can I tell you. I don't know about others who've had a bad experience with regard to the food here but it really did deliver for me. I visited them on a sunny friday afternoon and it was the shack with the longest queue which is the only downgrade or disappointing factor in my review. I waited for about 22 minutes in the hot sun. I really did pray that it should be worth it. I had ordered a regular portion of cheesy garlic chips and it turned out to be super scrumptious. They've really taken chips, which is a side to main, to a whole new league. It was spectacular. I could taste every flavour in the dish's name, cheese, garlic and the amazing quality hot potato chips. It is absolutely needless to comment on the portion sizes as you can see in the images. A regular can easily feed 2 and a large can feed 3-4. The price is reasonable unless you are alone without any company. It is more ideal to be in a group. They are doing well and I really think they shouldn't be increasing their prices any more. Apart from this, a big thumbs up guys. Do think about getting another shack for crowd controlling measures due to the massive demand nHonestly, the fame over the internet is well deserved.
Well worth the long line for some of the best chips you'll have. Even though the line is long, it's super organized where you place your order and pay while in line to keep everything moving.nnWe got the Spicy Cheesy Garlic Chips and they delivered in every aspect. Each portion easily feeds 2 people, especially if you're eating your way around the market.nnThe show the boys put on while cooking each portion is a highlight. Spicy Spicy. Yummy Yummy!
The funky chips were really good, but the Tikka Masala style fries were too spicy for my taste. Overall, everything was fine, but we had to wait 40 minutes in line, which was a bit frustrating.
Worth trying at least once for the novelty, but I wouldn't go back. Got the masala chips, but I still felt the chips were a bit dry. Wish I had some mayonnaise to go with them especially for the price - £13.20. The chips were fried pretty well though. The guy taking the orders was also kinda rude.
Worth it! We waited 30 mins as they were really busy and had the masala and cheese fries which was really good and I think worth the price. The large portion is big enough for two people.
