We tried their famous masala chips with chicken nuggets. A small portion of fries is enough for 2 people, we couldn't even finish them and had some later on the train. The lines are a bit long on weekends, so you'll easily wait 10-30 minutes. Although, the taste is good and worth the money.
When in Camden came across Funky Chips. Had seen clips online and we decided to try. Shared a small portion of famous masala chips. Claim to be “The Best Chips In England” were nice but had better. Good quality and freshly made. Don’t need large unless a group to finish these off.
Tried Funky Chips at Camden Market and honestly… didn’t live up to the hype. The portions are huge and look great, but the taste was pretty average. Feels more like an Instagram spot than a must-eat. Not bad, just nothing special — especially for the price and the queue.
When I ordered there was small queue. But after sometime i came, the queue was so long. The masala chips was so yummy and malted cheese make it more good. The staff was also so engaging. For only small pack of chips, you need 2 people to eat
The cheesy chips had a huge portion and lots of toppings, but they didn’t have as much of a cheesy flavour as I expected. They were quite heavy and filling, though. The masala chips were actually good — spicy, tasty, and with a nice kick. Overall, a fun Camden Market snack, but the flavours could be a bit more balanced.
