There is a lot of hype around this place, but I’m asain so I know I’m more critical than most. This is definitely for people who like less spice but want to enjoy a range of items with a bit of tweak to it, overall the food was decent for me I would much prefer more spice and Flavour but i understand why many people would go there as there is a good range of choice. If you are veg there are lots of options. I like this branch as it’s located in a lovely area and by the water, inside and outdoor seating. The staff are lovely and helpful. The okra fries were really good and the biryani did have a lot of chicken in it. The tea served is also bottomless. Definitely just a nice meal to have with friends and eating small portions of different items to share. I’d say with Flavour it’s just very average for me but if you don’t tolerate high spice levels this is the place for you. Spend pp is about 30-40,nWould be quite nice for breakfast.
After a long wait of 1:15 hrs, we got seats for dinner. It was weekdays yet busy. However we got corner seat, the area was so hot. There was no AC nor fans, we were all sweating. Later on, as it was getting dark outside, the dining room was dean, we could barely see our food. We didn’t complain. For the hype that Dishoom have, it needed to maintain the temperature for its customers. Hopefully, they will fix that soon. Didn’t want to give less star and want to try next time too.
The food at this place is simply exceptional! The portion sizes are generous and truly worth every penny. The chicken biryani was the highlight for me—richly aromatic and bursting with flavor. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!nnThe staff here deserves special praise. They were attentive and welcoming, and when they found out it was my special day, they went the extra mile to make it even more memorable for me. Their efforts added a personal touch to my experience.nnOverall, I highly recommend this place for its amazing food and outstanding service. I can't wait to return!
I don’t normally write reviews, but I want to share my experience. I celebrated my birthday with my family at Dishoom on Monday, the 22nd, during dinner time. The service, food, and staff were amazing. I'm so glad I chose this place. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the staff member who took care of our table I think we sat at table 28, but she was fantastic. If any Dishoom staff read this, please let her know we are very thankful for her excellent service that evening. The food was the best we’ve had, and we all enjoyed it, especially my kids, who now want to come back for their birthdays.
Today was the first time I visited this Dishoom.nnThere was a twenty minute wait for a table but waiting at the bar was no issue at all.nnThe food was delicious as always and the staff were friendly and helpful.nnIt was a great meal and I would visit again
