This was the first time I've had an opportunity to visit the Canary Wharf location and it was really nice. Very open with very much the signature Dishoom decor.nnThe staff were really helpful, excellent in their service and ensured we received all our food order promptly.nnI've tried Dishoom many a times and it is a safe bet to ensuring consistent and delicious Indian food every single time and during this visit, it was no different. Thoroughly enjoyed the outing.nnDefinitely visit if you have never been.
We had a wonderful meal at Dishoom, Canary Wharf! The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, and the service was warm and attentive. The chaat was bursting with flavour, the masala fish perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection, and the halva puri was an absolute treat. The chef’s special lamb dish stood out — rich, tender, and beautifully balanced. Every dish felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. A memorable dining experience we’d happily repeat!
After hearing about this for a long time, decided to go in. Usually need reservations but went late in the evening and decided to take a chance - worked out but reservations are highly recommended.nnThe decors are great and the vibe in this place is fantastic. Our waiter wasn’t the most responsive - very mechanical and at times quite slow possibly because they are so busy but hope it isn’t because they don’t care.nnThe food is easily the star of the show. I have a super high bar for Indian vegetarian food and this place shatters that bar. Every single item that we ordered was just fantastic. Highly recommend ordering multiple dishes and sharing across the table. Their okra fries, pau bhaji, house dal cannot be missed with the romali rotis. The rest of what we ordered was great but these were stand out.nnI will come back again and hope for a different waiter but the food alone makes it worth it. The hype for once is spot on.
Everyone told us we needed to go here, and they were absolutely right. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had eating in London. The food is truly top notch. And the service really blew us away.nWe had a lot of inconvenient, allergies and our server, Daxesh along with Steph was super thorough in making sure that we had all our needs taken care of. They even went through the menu to tell us what we couldn’t could not eat. It was the highest level of service.nSpecial shout out to Michael, made us feel so welcomed and was outrageously kind and helpful. He brought an energy to the meal that elevated the entire experience. We left in such a great mood because of him.nAs for the food, the lamb chops, garlic, chili, and brussels sprouts were simply delicious. Will be thinking about and talking about these for years.nDo not miss out on this restaurant experience, it’ll change your life
Very good Indian food in a great locationnnWe walked in as a party of three on a Sunday afternoon. There were no more seats inside, but it was a nice day out, so we sat outside. The outside seats have some heaters over them and some canopy, but our table was a little outside of the canopy. I was a bit cold, as I forgot my jacket, but the sun kept me warm.nnThe menu is fairly large. There’s plenty of options. We ordered two plates of the vegetable samosas and the chili chicken as appetizers. They came out very quickly. They were both delicious! The chicken had a nice kick to it.nnFor our entrees we ordered the Masala prawns shrimp, the chicken tikka masala, the garlic naan, the Roti, and the half plate of Sally Boti. It doesn’t come with rice, so we ordered two sides of rice. Everything was delicious. The chicken tikka masala was pretty spicy. We all shared everything. We really didn’t have any leftovers. The only complaint I have is that the chicken still had some skin and fat on it. Every time I’ve ever ordered it, it’s been much more lean and all white meat.nnThe interior is really nicely decorated in mid-century modern. I love the style. They have a cute little shop too.nnIt’s a wonderful restaurant in a great location. Very walkable. I don’t believe there’s any parking nearby. We walked from our hotel. It was only a 10 minute walk from the Canary Riverside.nnOur bill was £130. I would return again.
