Hands down, the best Indian food we had in London. No competition. The wait was about 45 minutes in line pictured at about 6pm but it was well worth it. First off, their signature cocktail is one of the best gin drinks over personally ever tasted. The food, not a single disappointing dish. The star of the show is the chili chicken. Not too spicy and super flavorful. The service, everyone we interacted with was wonderful and their recommendations were spot on. We will be returning!
Food was full of flavour with a nice kick of spice level. We went midweek for lunch midweek i recommend booking ahead and notable dishes were the okra fries would be tasty with a beer, spicy lamb chops one serve wasn't enough because we really enjoyed it and the house black daal rich and smoky.nnOverall great atmosphere but our seating was a bit uncomfortable seated on low rattan chairs and had a coffee table for food but we managed. It was a bit difficult at times to get the attention of the staff due to our seats and how busy it was.
Came late on a Friday, still a small queue, Michele took us to a lovely table and we had a great chat along the way, greeted us like old friends. The ambience was delightful and the interior is a sight to behold. The server was very polite and service fast. Our food runner was so sweet, everyone made us feel very welcomed. Including the manager Dan, who stopped to talk to us and made us feel at home. The drinks were also delicious , India gimlet was a great after dinner cocktail to help ease the stuffed bellies. For our anniversary we got a complimentary pudding which was the cherry on top! Best meal out we’ve had in a long long time. Long live Dishoom!
Wow - arrived early for breakfast and already nearly full. Brilliant atmosphere, attentive friendly staff and food that was top notch. The Big Bombay and Wrestlers Nan went down a treat. Well recommended.
Really nice experience and worth it to try at least once while in London. We were in the queue for 45 minutes, but they were offering hot tea so it wasn't too bad. Once we got in, we were shown to the bar downstairs to wait another 10-15 minutes.nnThe atmosphere inside is amazing. The layout, smells, and sounds are beautiful.nnOnce at our table there was a bit of a mix up between the servers with two people getting us water and introducing the menu, but it was figured out and wasn't a problem.nnThe menu is exquisite, making it incredibly difficult to choose from, but the staff had some good recommendations and everything we ordered tasted amazing. Each drink or dish costs between 10 and 20£, so that can add up pretty quickly.nnOverall a wonderful experience.
