I paid Fox Garage over £1000  and drove home without new master cylinder , oil pan - and who knows ... without a new crankshaft seal .

Took my ford transit to Fox Garage as the clutch died - I asked for a quote to change the clutch including the slave cylinder and master cylinder and I was told that it will cost me just under £500 for the above and a free MOT test next year . 
Later that day I asked the garage to change the oil sump pan too - and add that to the bill (the thread on the oil sump pan was damaged - that's the reason I wanted it replaced) .  
Then in about 30min , I was informed that the timing chain cover is leaking oil and  it would be good to replace it - I said "yes please - change that too "  the price to change the oil pan and timing chain cover was £370 
And finally  - since the transmission is coming down I thought it would be a good idea to change Rear Crankshaft seal - just in case , that was + £127 
Anyway , when I came to collect the vehicle the Master Cylinder was not changed because  "is not part of the clutch kit" , the oil sump pan was not replaced "because is not leaking oil" but I had to pay the full price £370 even if the pan hasn't been changed.
The oil pan had to be replaced because of the damaged thread not because was leaking 

I have a strong feeling that the Crankshaft seal hasn't been changed too ... If they fail to replace the parts I can see - why would they replace the seal hidden in the transmission  ...

Also asked to see the old crankshaft seal and the delivery note of the new one (sure they should have some paperwork for all parts delivered to them that day) - none of the above was available .. 

Despite being a customer for over 11 years - i've been lied to  and came home disappointed .

To be fair I have used them a few times over the the last few years and each time they have presented a clean and professional work place with polite and knowledgeable staff. Always greeted in person or on the the phone by friendly people eager to help. 
Recently went in with what I knew was going to be a big problem. Which it was ! They diagnosed free of charge and w ent out their way to get me a good price.  The work was well done within the time they had allotted and I got my car back the same day. Drives like a new car now even though they advised it might need to have the tracking re-done when the new parts settle. Even got a courtesy car which was a real bonus as I couldn’t take time of work. 
I would use them again and definitely recommend them to friends and colleagues.

Used Fox Garage for an MOT today. Very good online booking request followed up swiftly by a call to book me in. Pleasant receptionist who offered a tea/coffee whilst I waited. Will use again and happy to support an independent garage.

Pretty shabby to say the least. Checked in vehicle for a full service and clearly mentioned to gentleman behind desk to replace rear wiper as the rubber blade was beginning to detach away. It was noted. It has some other work done which meant the vehicle was kept over the weekend - a bit of an inconvenience as the part had to be ordered. The chap managing the service seemed pretty blasé about the whole thing - as if I was at his mercy and he had me trapped. Not one ounce of sensitivity at any stage. Anyway, drove back home 5 days later with my newly serviced car, and yup, the wiper rubber strip is dangling half-way down the tailgate. So much for a full service from Fox Garage Services at Camberley. Waste of time and money.

I dropped my jag in for a timing belt to be replaced it was a pig of a job took a little bit longer than first thought firstly I was assured there would be no extra cost to me 
They did a very professional job I would recommend them
