Took car in for a service and MOT in January.  Both front lower arm bushes needed to be replaced along with a few other bits.  Overall it took 3 days to complete this job.

Left garage and thought we had a knocking noise when we hit a dip in the road.  Got worse after a long journey. Took the car back to Formula One for a booked appointment, which they then said they didn't have time to deal with. Asked them to call Cambridge branch who asked us to go over immediately.

Cambridge advised screw wasn't in properly and they couldn't get it out so it might be stripped.  They agreed to do it in a couple of days.

On the day we were told it was something else that needed replacing.  They replaced that, then I watched them deal with the stripped thread! I asked them about it but they said it was something else.

At this point all trust for Formula One has gone, and I've been using them for 15 years, but in Essex.

After responding to Formula One's request below, we were asked to bring the car back and they would remove the new part and give us a refund.

After reading a lot of bad reviews about Formula One, I decided to decline their offer.

UPDATE:
A couple of weeks on - The car is extremely noisy (inside) when moving on the road, which it wasn't before the MOT, we have a slight knocking noise which I suspect is going to get worse, which we didn't have before the MOT, we also have a scraping noise, again which we didn't have before the MOT.

My next option is Skoda, but it will cost a fortune to get them to check over the work done by Formula One and complete any repairs. The repairs so far have cost over £1,000 and the car is only worth £2,500 for a private sale.

I only wish I'd seen all the bad reviews about Formula One before they got their hands on my car.  I won't be using them again.

Stopped in on the off chance to see if they could change a headlamp bulb for me. The guy behind the counter came out himself and had it changed in minutes. Very helpful and great customer service. Much cheaper than halfords too! Thanks very much.

Excellent, friendly service, priced to give good value for money. Premises are clean and well kept, and the waiting area is comfortable with a Tv to keep you occupied while waiting.
Suggest maybe a few magazines or newspapers might be an idea.

Had an MOT and brake fluid change done yesterday. Good price and service. Joe and the team did their usual first class job. The only problem is they are very understaffed. They really desperately
 need at least two extra mechanics.

2 x tyres easy to order online, good price. 
Morning appointment, arrived at 10.30 but had to hang about for 3 hours, not ideal !!
Guys at garage apologetic and polite as they were experiencing a few problems, would not deter me from using again.
