Room freezing and very outdated but reasonably clean. Nice view of rail bridge from room. Don't notice noise of trains too much. Won't stay again.

We had a light lunch at the Ferrybridge Hotel on a Wednesday lunchtime. Friendly service, good food, good chat from some regulars and a decent pint of Belhaven.

I didn't actually use the hotel but was passing and my severely disabled daughter need to use the bathroom. On enquiry re using the toilet I was told on no uncertain terms that she could not use the toilet ( extremely rude) unless we bought something. So we said we would buy juice and a snack after visiting the toilet and were told ( again very rudely) that we would have to buy the juice first. My daughter was becoming very anxious so we left. We used a toilet in a cafe further down with no problems and polite owners. I went back to the hotel to complain and again was met with hostility and rudeness from the women at and the desk AND the owner. I fully understand premises not allowing non patrons to use their facilities but given the circumstances I was appalled at the way we were spoken to even after we offered to pay. It was nothing short of disgusting.
