Recently refurbished. Fresh modern and classy. Views are stunning. New Queensferry bridge can mean bridge facing rooms can suffer from traffic noise but not bad. If you want a bath, ask otherwise it will just have a shower.

Overcharged me and took a week to give it back! Nice rooms, very comfortable and clean. Would stay again! Just be vigilant on charging!

Good Hotel, rooms are big enough, the bed was nice, had a very good night sleep before my flight back home. The diner was well prepared and best described as delicious. I will most certainly return here if I have a early flight home after business in e.g. Dundee.

Stayed at the Double Tree on the way back from a Highland holiday. The views of the new bridge are amazing from the restaurant and bar in the evening. Great facilities and a spa currently being added. The rooms are great value benefiting from a recent refer very comfortable king size bed and very powerful shower. The food is good quality and a wide range to select from. Breakfast is also very good with both continental and full Scottish available. Staff are very helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Overall a great choice for a stopover.

Great view of the queesferry crossing. Nice bar and restaurant and good spacious room. My only disappointment was the air conditioning of the room which felt cold (it was snowing outside) even at higher temperature.
