As I was strolling down High Street in South Queensferry; I came across this handsome red façade pub which combined with my appetite did the trick of enticing me in. To cut to the chase, I had a Steak and Ale Pie, washed down with an Erdinger alcohol-free wheat beer. Full marks for the tasty and abundant pie, with a scrumptious thick ale sauce and the large rigged chips! The barman was very polite and provided a professional down to earth service, as he was the only one serving all patrons on that early afternoon. Pub interiors were the classical & genuine stone and wood which make it very welcoming and cosy. WiFi is available too… so, if you are out and about South Queensferry; you know where to go.
