Beautifully decorated place. Staff very efficient and attentive. Ordered the fish finger sandwich which came with chunky chips and salad... The sandwich could have done with a little more tartare sauce to make it less dry but it was very tasty. Apple crumble and custard was nice however a little too much for me, needed more "crumble" in proportion to the apple, in my opinion. Custard very tasty and latte was brilliant. Really liked the short glass and the mugs for coffees, I'd buy them if I could haha!
We attended Louie Browns for Sunday Lunch We were greeted at the door with a big smile and shown to our seats. At the start I must say the restaurant was incredibly busy with a few large parties in. Service was relaxed and the staff gave us time to look at the drinks menu before taking our order and bringing the food menu. Once again we were given time to browse and our drinks arrived when we ordered. We ordered a sharing starter, Nachos between three and three mains The starter arrived fairly prompt but the mains did take about 40 mins to arrive after our plates were cleared. To be fair we were after a relaxing lunch so it wasn't an issue for us but it might be for others and as I said earlier the restaurant was incredibly busy. When our mains arrived we weren't disappointed we ordered Teriyaki Chicken, Fajitas and Sea Bass. All three were excellent and a perfect portion size. We followed with three deserts and few more drinks and were allowed to sit and relax. It was our first visit but it definitely won't be our last :
Very nice place clean tidy staff friendly food excellent could no fault anything
Love visiting Louie Browns in Dalgety Bay - it has a good busy vibe inside with lovely tree decor inside. The sweet chilli fajitas were so tasty, and good size portion. Love a cookie dough dessert - it ticked all the boxes
My wife and I had a great night at Louie Brown's as a surprise 30th wedding anniversary party arranged by both our daughters. The private area we had was excellent for a group of 40 people approx and the hot buffet was also very good. Many thanks to all the staff and to friends and family for turning up to make it a special night, and finally a very special thanks to our 2 daughters for organising a fantastic surprise
Lovely restaurant, delicious food, really nice staff.
Enjoyed a meal here the other week as a group of 7. It was a Friday night so prebooking was very necessary as it was very busy with other tables having food and drinks. Service was great and very friendly, and the food was really nice too. I had the salmon which was decent but nothing overly special, though the food was presently exquisitely! Desert was a chocolate cheesecake - tasty but a little too much for me, but the large portion size was a positive. Also had a mojito with my meal, which I very much enjoyed. Happily sat at the table for 4 hours or so and wasn't rushed away either, letting us catch up and have a chat. Atmosphere was busy and lively but also felt cosy and cute. Worth a visit for a nice meal!
Absolutely excellent service and food! And, surprisingly for such a well turned out restaurant, really good value for money. Can’t fault the service, the quality or quantity of food or the price of drinks, all average prices but in superior surroundings! Staff all very attentive and friendly at all times. Overall excellent!
Was meeting family for a meal. Service was very good and friendly. Staff very attentive and helpful, food was lovely. I had fish and chips, very nice. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and we had a very nice time. Recommend it.Food: 4/5
Booked this restaurant for a party of 7 people, catching up with some relations whilst visiting the area. Oustanding service, great food, lovely decor and atmosphere. What a find in Dalgety Bay, lots of parking. We all tried different dishes and they were all delicious. Topped off with Irish coffee and Expresso Martinis. Will definitely return here next time we are in the area.
