Fermyn Woods Country Park

Story

Situated in the heart of the Rockingham Forest, the park offers access to fantastic woodlands, meadows, thickets, marshes and ponds to explore. Rich in flowers birds and butterflies including Hawfinches and Purple Emperor Butterflies.

Located in Fermyn Woods Country Park, the Skylark Cafe offers delicious, freshly prepared hot and cold food.
The cafe is located next to the Ranger's office and close to the lovely children's play area. The start point for the trails into Fermyn Woods is also just outside the door so you can either stoke yourself up for a long walk in the forest, or reward yourself afterwards for your efforts.

Open 10-4.45pm in summer. 11-3pm in the Winter.

Car Parks
The main car park is open every day 24/7. The car park near the Cafe is open 9am-5pm April-Oct. 9am-4pm Nov-March,


All parking areas are Pay and Display. £3 per day. Season tickets are also available from Northamptonshire County Council Customer Service line 0300 126 1000 during office hours. £36 for Fermyn Woods or £49 for Fermyn, Barnwell, Irchester, Sywell and Brixworth.

Every penny of your parking fee goes back into running Northamptonshire County Council's Country Parks.
