Brilliant place to go, beautiful lakes, amazing views, great wildlife and some important facilities. Me and my girlfriend took our dog for a Sunday walk and everyone was so friendly. It was a busy Sunday and one car park machine wasn't maybe enough. But this didn't annoy us much as the que was full of friendly people who enjoyed a play with our dog.

Nice place to visit however, cafe service and queuing needs improvement. Forgot my order twice despite having mobile table holder. Secondly children lunch box cooker needs moving as causes issue with queing.

Careful where you plod, The River Nene has burst her banks leaving vast field fulls of water, trees growing out of the lake. Barnwell Country Park is a beautiful well thought out place to visit, judging by the shrieks of laughter and delight coming from the play area the kids have certainly given it their thumbs up too.
