A small station on Merseyrail connection to Kirkby. This is the station for the Aintree Hospital and the Walton Centre. Very basic facilities but the staffs are helpful.
So. I got a lift from a friend from snowdonia to Fazakerley station. On my way to Blackpool. Turns out the moronic cashier sold me a ticket knowing full well the trains weren't running after Liverpool due to greedy workshy drivers. Now I'm stranded in Liverpool with no way to Blackpool. And Sunak wants my car!!! Won't happen again.
Busy commuter Station with town atmosphere at one end, country at the other and pleasant views down the line to Kirkby in summer. Covered, though not fully enclosed waiting areas and lifts as well as ramps down to both platforms from station entrance. No park and ride facilities but bike rack on westbound platform. Pleasant and helpful staff. N.B. If picking up or dropping off passengers by car the side streets to the north of the adjacent dual carriageway offer the safest and most convenient location.
Daily delays. Missed connections, no information - electronic signs are wrong or broken. Staff have no updated information for passengers. Unable to post without giving one star but Merseyrail dont rate 1 its a 0 out of five.
I travel through here every day staff are awesome. One does look a bit grumpy but hes a nice guy.
Electronic signs were working fine on every visit, couldn't work out the lift from the labelled suggestions.
Train station was closed no worning guy behind the desk was horrible no need for such insults
Lacks ticket vending machines, but kept clean and friendly staff
Nice place with very helpful staff
A basic railway station on the Kirkby branch of Merseyrail.
