I went in to book train tickets for a journey to Manchester. Kevin behind the desk was so helpful he explained all the different ticket prices and which ones would be better for my journey. This made all the difference speaking to someone who was pleasant and informative throughout.

Good people and nice wee station
Facilities for Glasgow bound passengers are very poor. The waiting room appears to be used as a dump for workmen's detritus. Obviously passenger needs are a poor second to employee comfort.
