Enjoyed our walk around some interesting rooms with interesting items and facts about the house. Highlight would be the 1800s kitchen, very interesting. Friendly staff with a tea room that has a very good menu.

Callendar house has free entry, a good museum and an interesting history of the local area. You must visit the period kitchen. Other park facilities include a great pitch and putt course (for a fee), childrens play areas, a boating pond and some lovely tree lined walks.

I live near the park and it is great for dog walking with plenty of walks in the woods. Beautiful house which is free to enter. On good days bouncy castles and a great play park for the kids.

Absolutely lovely park and house. Well worth a visit, especially the house tea room for some well priced tea and cakes!
