Well situated. Vibrant and fun. Menu was good, something for everyone. Drinks are a bit expensive. Lovely area out the front to drink, even in the winter, blankets supplied. A good find.
Smart restaurant which compliments the hotel. You can’t go wrong with a sirloin steak and the Exchange lounge doesn’t beer far from tried and tested. The flavour was satisfying. Crisp and charred outside with a rare interior that home cooking struggles to achieve. The flavour might have been better with a day or 2 of aging and a wee bit more peppercorns in the sauce but I’m nitpicking. My go to bearnaise sauce was unavailable but I’m nitpicking. Chips were perfection and the front of house and waitstaff sparkling enough to warrant a tip.
Great food and drinks here. Didn't realise that anyone could walk in although it's attached to a hotel. Great chilled out vibe but with a classier feel. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. The service was second to none
Very disappointing afternoon tea at a 4 star hotel Novotel. We booked an afternoon tea for 2 through Groupon, expected to have a quality afternoon tea in a well known 4 stars hotel Novotel Manchester City centre. Very disappointed that it only served basic sandwiches - ham, eggs and smoked salmon. The cakes was like those bought from supermarkets. Portion was small. The most unbelievable was afternoon tea did NOT come with a cup of tea!! The tea set we ordered was including two glasses of Prosecco, I thought it would also include a pot of tea just like any other restaurants but it didn’t. It was possibly the worst afternoon tea I had ever had across the UK.
Went here with a wowcher deal 2 course brunch and bottomless prosecco for 90 mins booking was easy you just rang up to arrange when to go just check what time it finishes so you get the full 90 minutes got there 15 mins early but they let us in chef came and spoke to us to explain the food i had eggs benedict with salmon which was 2 eggs and my mum had avocado on toast with bacon which was 2 pieces of toast thick layer of avocado and 2 thick slices of bacon on each slice of toast with a little side salad both delicious and the ingredients were fresh for dessert we both had pancakes with fruit delicious the waitress who served us was very good and served us prosecco regularly when the 90 minutes was up she came round for the final time topped up the glasses and said that it was finished which was good there was also a complimentary glass of water with lemon would definitely recommend and come back again
Went here on a wet & blustery Saturday afternoon… myself & my wife were staying at a hotel just up the road and we stumbled across this place whilst looking for somewhere nearby to get out of the rain! Our initial thoughts when we saw the menu was that they were spreading their choices too wide, we’ve eaten at places before that cater for a million different cuisines from pizzas to curries to fish & chips to Thai food, we’ve usually found the food to be of a sub standard quality when it’s been like that but we were both pleasantly surprised how good our food was. I had the Norrbrod avocado, smoked salmon on rye bread and my wife had Pad Thai, both really good sized, delicious portions. The staff were very friendly & helpful too!

Good menu choice. Excellent and friendly staff. You have GOT to try the Vinte Cheesecake! Didn't hurt that I was able to see the England cricket team progress to the semis of the World Cup....
Our prosecco afternoon tea was really good. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would recommend to anyone!
service terribly slow waited nearly half an hour for 2 drinks. half the cocktails on menu not available. suggest stick to favourites and serve quicker. they were nice when they arrived
