Excellent Italian restaurant within Central Manchester's Corn Exchange. Hot, tasty and freshly-cooked food served by friendly and helpful staff. It's always reassuring when eating in an Italian restaurant to hear the staff talking between themselves in Italian. That's a positive sign! The restaurant was very quiet when I ate, at 3pm on a wet Tuesday, but it can get busy especially if the nearby AO Arena has an event on, so check or book to make sure.
My partner and I love this place it’s never failed us and we go at least once a month the service is excellent everyone is so friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful and the food is always cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5

Booked in here as we were staying in the Roomzzz accommodation in the same building, and having looked at the menu online, it was very appealing. I can honestly say after tonight, Riva Blu is one of the finest Italian restaurants I have eaten in, in England. The service is exceptional, the ambience and setting is perfectly in sync with the menu and the food. The starters, mains and desserts were all perfectly executed, with no extra "fluff" or unnecessary frilly nonsense on the plate - This sort of food should sell itself and speak for itself, and at Riva, it really does. Honestly, if you're in Manchester and fancy Italian cuisine in the City Centre, go to Riva, I cannot speak highly enough about our experience.
