Needs an upgrade inside here. That tables and chairs belong in a skip! They are terrible! The actual room itself is fine just the furniture is a disgrace. Toilets leave alot to be desired too. Definitely needs money spending on this place.

Yea it's a good place when you have just come off a train to have a couple of pints nice and quiet
Extortionately overpriced and geared towards business commuters, only go here if you have a lot of money to spend on pints of Carling Black Label. I have awarded 2 stars because the staff are friendly and courteous.
Not a terrible place to stop for a quick drink after or before traveling, however, like most train station pubs it lacks atmosphere and was busy and noisy. For a quick drink and sit-down it was okay. We didn't try the food.
Really only come in here if you have time to spare for your train! The prices are simply ridiculous, even 'town' prices don't command what these lot charge £5.85 for a pretty average cask ale - walk a few minutes out the station to the Pilcrow where you don't necessarily have to take out a mortgage to get yourself a drink..
