A fun place for a date. You get to enjoy your movie in a couch and be served food while watching it. However, the price is too expensive. What made me very mad was the amount of ADS you have to watch even before the trailers. If I'm paying almost 20 pounds for a movie I don't think that amount of ads should be allowed. It was almost 30 minutes of ads. This is not ok in any cinema but what upset me the most was that I payed for an experience and had to sit watching them for a long time.
Fantastic cinema in the Mailbox. Large and aesthetically pleasing bar area as you enter. The tickets are expensive in comparison to Odeon, Cineworld or Star City/Vue but worth it for a good film as you get to sit on comfortable sofas and they bring food and drinks to you. Picture and sound quality are also good but not as loud as some cinemas.
Great cinema if you want to treat yourself to some comfort and a cosy up with someone special they have sofa seats for 2, as well as single seats. Tickets aren't cheap, but it's more of an experience than just going to see a film. We've seen two of the National Theatre Live shows and though it can seem odd to watch a play on the big screen, it's a great way to see theatre if you couldn't make it to the live event in person. We haven't ordered food there but the menu looks good and we may well do in future. Staff friendly though seem a little flustered when delivering the food and drink.
Absolutely loved it here! The service and staff are amazing, the food is really tasty and the overall atmosphere is just great. The foyer is really pretty and would be comfortable to sit and chill in before and after the film and have some starters or desserts or drinks. Love how comfy the seats and the screens. The staff were really attentive, I wasn’t ready to order when my friend did so he said he would come back. The food comes quickly and is really tasty, it is on the more expensive side but I think you pay a premium for the experience and the service. I would say that the pizza and the sweet potato fries are really good value and not much if at all more expensive than anywhere else :
Visited on a Sunday afternoon and had a brilliant experience. We received a friendly welcome and offered a seat in the lobby area whilst waiting for our screen to be ready. There's a menu with plenty of choice, including hot food, desserts, and snacks. You can place an order from your seats, and they offer table service which is great, especially if you're like me and fancy something mid way through a film. The decor and seating was super cosy and such a treat compared to the usual standard cinema.
Not your average cinema….. had a lovely first experience at the mailbox Everyman. Great service, drinks in the bar area beforehand, hot dogs and cocktails delivered to my sofa seat in the cinema. Bliss. All the team were friendly and approachable, with nothing too much trouble. I will definitely hunt out Everyman cinemas around the country and I’ll definitely be back when I’m back in Birmingham.
Best cinema chain by far. Friendly staff, wine and food that you can take into the cinema. Comfortable and trendy large waiting area. The sofas in the screens are so comfortable and perfect for two. They take food and drinks orders in the room before the film starts.
Never thought personal cinema experience would be sooo addictive... definitely worth visiting for cinema lovers who need some extra pampering & privacy... We watched the most awaited Mission Impossible and the overall Cinema Experience exceeded our expectations. Food and Drink options were really good compared to standard cinemas. Worth every Star for this place... Will be back soon!
Always love coming here. Great environment. The only thing I'd say is when we come here, we often feel like we're simply tolerated from the moment we walk through the doors. It could be differences in communications style? Maybe that's the authentic vibe the place is going for? Or maybe, we're perceived as simply having terrible taste in movies. Who knows. Though I want to be clear that not everyone working there is blunt, and it's an experiential price we're ok with for a comparatively more comfortable cinema environment
Our experience was ruined by the rudeness of the staff, in particular Louise. There were a number of occasions where I was not happy with how I was treated/spoken to. The main issue although there were other rude moments was that we ordered fries and popcorn in the cinema; the fries arrived fairly quickly but the popcorn didn't turn up. After 30 mins had gone and still no sign of the popcorn, I left the film to ask the staff where it had gone. They said that all the popcorn orders had gone out and heavily implied I was lying about ordering it. After i showed them my order receipt, they shrugged their shoulders and said "every order has gone out". That's great but I haven't received my popcorn that I paid for and now I'm missing the film. After politely asking when will I receive the popcorn, Louise shoved a random bag of popcorn that was left on the side for a different customer into my hands, not bothered whether it was even the correct flavour popcorn or size. Just found the whole experience a bit insulting as I wouldn't pay good money to watch a film, to then miss it to try and swindle free popcorn out of them. Manners cost nothing.
