I recently rented a car from here europcar for my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The car provided was absolutely perfect – clean, comfortable, and ideal for a fun day out with my mates. A special shoutout to the customer service representative, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process. He made sure I got a great vehicle and explained everything clearly. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend Europcar car rental company – they helped make my birthday extra special!
Firm of scruffs, got a vehicle dropped off that stunk of dog and was filthy. On the phone for over an hour just getting passed from department to department and the branch never answered after trying twice for 30mins both time.
A car was rented for me after i had an RTA in my own. The service i received was excellent and the car had been amazing.
rented a car a while ago and was told 14 times they was collecting to not collect it to then turn up first thing of a morning demand i go with them to stick fuel in the car i refused due to personal reasons and they then fined me £70 for it, stuck a complaint in and got it waived. due to have another car from them and yet again i’ve faced poor customer service, i have rang numerous of times for the phone to be hung up by them everytime and not speak to a human to see where it is up to, in the mean time they don’t care is the top and bottom of it. the most poorest customer service i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and it’s not even remotely over yet. they are supposed to make it less stress and add more stress.
Europcar Liverpool: A Masterclass in Chaos, Lies & UselessnessnnIf you’re looking for a reliable van, working customer service, or even basic honesty… do NOT go to Europcar Liverpool. If you are looking for a comedy show disguised as a rental company, then this is your place.nnMy first van turned up an hour late with a flat tyre and the engine light on — basically a mobile warning sign. Liverpool couldn’t sort it, obviously, so I drove to Chester for Van Number 2. That one lasted just long enough for Liverpool to swap me into Van Number 3, which had windscreen wipers made of wet tissue paper and an AdBlue fault that might as well have been a ticking time bomb.nnAfter 3 hours on hold, 14 phone calls, and enough stress to age me 10 years, I took the van back. They told me no replacements were available but that I was “top priority.” Translation: we’ll forget you exist as soon as you leave the car park.nnNext day, the van breaks down on the way to work. AdBlue fault. Again.nI waited 10 hours for recovery, 89 miles from home, made another 12 calls, and got passed around more than a parcel at a kid’s birthday party.nnThen Liverpool decided to spice things up with some lies:n– “We told you not to drive the van” no they didn’tn– “We always answer the phone” that one nearly made me choken– “We don’t do long-wheelbase vans” said while I was sat in onennEventually they found me the biggest van on Earth — great if I was moving house, useless for everything else. And as I write this, the broken van has been outside for 48 hours, still waiting to be exchanged because apparently that’s rocket science now.nnIn summary:nEuropcar Liverpool is the only place where you can hire three broken vans, hear a dozen lies, waste two days of your life, and still leave without a working vehicle.nAvoid unless you enjoy being stranded, ignored, or lied to by professionals.
