How comes we can not book an appointment online after normal people finish work atn5.30pm? It's online for a reason so it's easy work for staff and supposedly convenient and efficient for patients. Such a pathetic service. Patients might as well either leave themselves not to bother getting any treatment or go to A&E at this rate! Age of death will a lot younger with pathetic services like this. Only can book appointments online during opening hours and receptionists apparently cannot make any appointments! Wow! That's duty of care for you.
Very unhelpful surgery, Especially reception staff, the only promise they will give you is to keep calling for appoitment of next day, and when you ask them why do you have to call them again , if you're speaking to them and they can book for the appoiment they are asking you to call for? And their answer is we don't know what will be the situation tomorrow, just call. That was the answer after spending 45 min on phone from 8:00 to 8:45. Anyway they have never been helpful, I always take my children to A.E . There is no point of having Erith Health centre.
Very disappointed, We saw a male nurse called Anan very unprofessional and rude, he didn’t listen to anything my daughter wanted to say, he saw that my daughter’s leg was very infected pus was everywhere around the area and told her that is normal and put a bandage on it, we ended going to another hospital, plus he was taking personal calls while seeing us. I know we are in need of doctors and nurses but please at least make sure to find people that know what they are doing.
Come to my appointment that I’ve been waiting for a couple months for to be told at the centre my appointment cancelled it was at 1:45pm so there was plenty of time to be called, texted or emailed but nothing. Now I have to rebook my appointment for another 2 months.
Updated 25/9/2024nTold twice you can only book on the day. Told by head receptionist you can pre book but 3 week wait. Although that’s all booked now because I wasn’t made aware. Book with a physicians assistant. They can’t prescribe. They have to speak to a GP as they’re not qualified to do this. That’s fine but I waited 5 weeks for Luke to get back to me about changing medication and I never heard back. Then had to book with a GP who changed my meds and sent a prescription over to the pharmacy. Easy as that. Today I need my pain meds changed I have CFS Chronic pain syndrome fibromyalgia and spondylitis/osetoarthritis. Current pain meds are now triggering migraines. They booked me with a physician assistant so she can’t help me without speaking to a GP. Called the practice and the receptionist told me I could speak to the practice manager. I explained and she said I can’t help you do you want to speak to a practice manager! Apparently the other girl is new and doesn’t know she’s a reception manager. Told to phone back on 2/10. I give up. It’s a GP surgery which seems to rarely have a GP there. I’m not going to bother them again. I’ll carry on with the ice packs and paracetemol and ibuprofen which isn’t working and just suck it up and go to work every day as usual. The NHS just seems not to care about patients anymore. I appreciate its underfunded and a lot of NHS staff do a great job but I rarely see any of them. There’s no point in changing surgery because all surgeries are the same. Waste of time.nnWow! Speaking as someone who has been a receptionist for over 40 years I can categorically state that the receptionist I spoke to was a real piece of work! Rude is not the word! I actually called in error as I am a newly registered pt with Bexley Medical Group and did not realise there were 2 practices sharing the same building. I assume other people have made the same mistake and contacted this practice. The receptionist was rude and abrupt but did give me the correct number. I can only express my gratitude that I am not registered here and would suggest to the practice manager that she or he speak to their staff as soon as possible as it will have a negative effect on their practice reputation. Judging from the Google reviews they can’t afford this!
