They don't know how to handle fines. 

Due to a mistake with the plate number of the car I rented, I got notified by Enterprise that they had received a fine for me issued by a car park company. In consequence, they charged me 35£ as admins fee. 

In this letter they also informed me that they would transfer my address to the issuing agency and then I could either pay or appeal. After a couple of weeks without receiving any letter, I sent an email to Enterprise asking how long it would take to receive the letter and also how I could claim the admins fee as I could appeal the fine -I kept the VAT receipt of the car park plus an email of the car park customer services confirming my purchase-. 

Nevertheless they were asked by the issuing agency to pay for the fine as Enterprise were the owners of the vehicle. The paid without informing me about whether or not I wanted to appeal even though they had told me that by letter an email. I was charged another 100£. Notice that if they had paid within 14 days, the fine would have been only 60£. 

Of course Enterprise asked me to appeal afterwards and the answer from the issuing agency was that as the fine was already paid, it was closed in their system and I couldn't appeal. 

And the answer from Enterprise was that as the fine has not been cancelled, they are not gonna give me my money back. 

Terrible experience. I'm not going to rent any other car with this company if they don't respect my rights as a customer and they don't realise how unfair this situation is for me.

People at the Reading central Enterprise were outstanding . They know what customer focus means. The car itself could be better.

Called the day before to reconfirm, very friendly and helpul, transparent and completely open and also seemed to genuinely care.

The car was not checked properly when hired out initially, the manager seemed in a hurry. When we returned the car a different manager tried to imply that we had damaged a tyre and would therefore lose our deposit, the tyres were not checked on hire and were definately not damaged by us.  Beware of these checks!

Just brilliant service and always kept informed. Regular calls renewing my hire was brilliant. Left it the very capable hands of Sophie Sunshine. :-)
