My hire car was organised through the insurance company whilst I was having mine repaired.  Fantastic, friendly and helpful when picking up the vehicle but slightly disappointed when it was time to return the vehicle.  My car was being returned on the Wednesday afternoon/evening by the repair garage, I spoke to Enterprise on the Thursday whilst at work to arrange dropping their car back on the Friday to be told I would be no longer insured to drive the car on Friday.  This therefore meant I would be unable to top up the diesel and I was forced to pay their charges even though they couldn't calculate it until the return of the car at the depot. They apparently calculate it on the 1/4 or 1/8 tank even though I gave them the mileage figure on pick up and return!  I told them my availability for the Friday so they could collect the car easily but they didn't seem to listen and kept calling whilst I wasn't at home.  Slightly disappointing, customer care wasn't as high once they weren't being paid by the insurance company!

Great service great prices very helpful staff they even called me to let me know I left my phone charger and sunglasses in the vehicle...from now on will only hire from Enterprise.....well done you guys in my opinion the best car hire firm in the business

I booked an automatic through the website and paid online. I then received a phone call to check if I could drive a manual too. At collection, mid morning, I was told there was no automatic available. I would have preferred to have known this earlier to give me the opportunity to go elsewhere and get a vehicle I wanted, or make an alternative decision. I was given a larger vehicle but it was below the spec I had expected for a 500 mike round trip.
