The service I received from Mani was impeccable. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. There was one woman in the team that I found to be abrupt and abrasive in person and on the phone...which was a shame as the rest of the team are great....but it didn't negate from the positives. I took 2 cars in total and was happy with the service. The second car had heater issues, and they changed it and upgraded me immediately- as soon as I highlighted the problem. I felt like I was 'chased' for a review after I used this company which was a little annoying. 2 Phone calls from the woman, texts and emails! which put me off BUT nevertheless the overall impression was a good one and the men here offered outstanding service which is why I've given 5 stars. I was collected and dropped me off at no extra charge which is a brilliant part of the service.
Disgraceful company. They showed a long list of cars available for my dates from Chichester branch and so I booked, for which they took payment. I was called by someone at the branch to tell me that infact they had no cars. Repayment is via HO, which takes 10 working days. I could have booked weeks, costing a great deal of money. Not only this, but they field all branch calls to HO, where calls are manned by young poor English speaking foreigners. They also seemed unaware the branch had no cars. Pretty crummy organisation.
DO NOT USE! DO NOT HIRE CARS ONLINE FROM ENTERPRISE THEY DO NOT UPDATE THEIR AVAILABILITY ONLINE I turned up this morning to collect a car after booking online...and they inform me they have no cars for me to hire. at no point in the transaction does it say cars are subject to availbility...and when I called to complain I was told "tough" that is the way it is, there is nothing they can do. I also then find out they hold your money for 10 days to process a refund. Customer Service have refused to make any compensation for loss of earnings or additional travel costs now incurred as a result of thier false advertising online. if your are booking online call your bank to request the refund
Absolutely disgusted and appalled at the out of hours cover. We had a breakdown and had already waited 3 hours for the RAC to arrive, the car was beyond repair, they arranged for a tow vehicle for the car. As part our policy we had onward travel, so could get a hire car, we broke down 5 minutes from Enterprise in Terminus road. At 2.30 we were told we would have a vehicle sorted and be on our way home between 3 and 5pm. At 16.40 we got a call to say someone would call us soon to discuss vehicle options, by 5.30pm the RAC had arrived picked up our car and waited with us outside enterprise, eventually he said I will take you home. We had an autistic child with us, and stressed the urgency. Cannot believe the atrocious way we were treated and will be making an official complaint to HO.
Shockingly terrible experience with Enterprise when I had a hire car following a no fault accident. Less than 24 hrs after collecting the car the tyre warning light came on and I had a flat tyre. Called enterprise and was advised to call their breakdown number for AA. They didn’t tell me I would be charged for this. AA found a nail in the tyre and enterprise sent me to Kwik fit. I was told I had to get new tyre through my own insurance and Enterprise took £350 insurance excess from my card to pay for this. I chose to pay £80 for new tyre as Kwik fit told me this would be cheaper than claiming through insurance. I then asked enterprise to refund my £350 excess. I was told they wouldn’t do this until end of contract. I complained and they refunded me £149. I returned the car today and was told I will get the balance of my excess, minus the AA fee within 7-10 days. I feel I’ve been totally ripped off
Booking service really good, got a quote quickly and the branch staff were very efficient and friendly. Would not hesitate to use Enterprise Chichester - great team!
I really appreciate the friendliness & flexibility of the entire team. I have been renting from them for the entire academic year and they have helped out a lot with my career progression through their service. I think one of the things I really appreciate from the team is their professionalism & frankness when things have not gone right. But beyond that, they have been kind. To sum it up, it's the #HumanFactors for me! If you have questions, just ask them. Respect their vehicles & staff and it will come back tenfold. Thank you, guys!
This company is shocking. They took money from my bank account then told me they couldn’t accept a debit card for payment so I couldn’t hire the car. No cabs were available so I had to walk 3 miles back to where I was staying. Absolutely shocking treatment. I am still waiting for my money back. Do yourselves a favour and go to a different hire car company.
Excellent customer service. Great little car. The only drawback to hiring in Chichester is the opening times. They close at 5pm on weekdays and are not open at the weekend
Rented a Vauxhall Corsa, basic model, for a week at the end of April '23. Great service. Car was spotless and had half a tank of fuel. Very polite staff, showed me around vehicle for pre inspection. Process was quick and straight forward. Car ran very well and with no issues. Returning vehicle was just as quick. After speedy return inspection, confirmed no problems and deposit returned quickly. Maybe not the cheapest, but great service and vehicle, with no additional or hidden charges!
