Rented a van for the Saturday was told to return it on the Monday and the cost would be 45 pounds. Made various phone calls before the van hire requesting confirmation on van return date. I was told on all occassions the van would have to be back on th monday. Then when i offcially called the make the booking I was told to collect the van on the Friday as they wouldn't be open the saturday. So I collect the van on the friday and pay a 200 pound deposit. I return the van on the Monday as instructed and hand the keys over. I am informed the full deposit will be credited back onto my card. Two days later I notice that they have only given my pratial deposit back, (less 41.13 short). After speaking the ppl there I was told the van was hired for two days regardless of previous reassurances, and then hung up on. They also said that this was all explained to me when I dropped the van off, which is a lie... so all these lies to steal 41.13 pounds? Not worth the hassel. Will be taking them to a small claims court.
