Took the family there for a meal and it was superb! Staff were friendly and the food was exceptional.. Very good value and well presented. Dessert was a huge portion and we all walked out of there feeling satisfied.

Food was nice, sat in the garden which needed some attention. Lots of tables, some piled up broken. River running next to garden but sadly couldnt see due to overgrown trees.

First time here and really liked it alot. Had some lunch in the restaurant and the food looked good, I had fish and chips with mushy peas and was delicious 😋 All the staff were lovely and had just the right amount of attentiveness. There's a couple of bar areas, an area at the back with some comfy sofas and other tables/seating too. The back garden area has a small but if grass and some bench tables. The front has some bench tables and is right next to a stream. Parking wise theres about 6 spaces at the front and another 4-6 at the back. In one respect a downside is it's right in the road and there's not kids area in the garden, but they have WiFi, so for the kids these days with tablets should be fine 😂 Didn't notice any disabled toilets to speak of and there's a few steps to some of the restaurant so not the best for wheelchairs.

A little bit understaffed when we arrived, or at least the stress levels indicated they were. However, we were found a table in good time, and the drinks selection was good, food, nothing extraordinary, but good food served well. My burger (BBQ ranch) was a little greasy, my partner's and nephews steaks were a lot better. Sticky toffee pudding was piping hot awesomeness! All in all a nice meal, but service underwhelming.

Just abysmal food. Unwelcoming. Dirty menus. Decor dated. Moody young bar girl that had no charisma. Hated us as soon as we walked through the door. Hate your job....not us. It was a cold rainy day, the pub had a beautiful fire area... and it was unlit. Bad management. Such a gorgeous pub 15 years ago, now unloved and soulless.
