Lovely pub, great food and friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly. We popped in for drinks Saturday afternoon, saw the food being served whilst there and decided to go back for Sunday lunch. So glad we did, we all enjoyed our meals, good size portions and meat, roasties and veg were all cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back there next time we're in the area.

The food was nice and it was hot. Staff placed another party of 6 next to us in a room with 9 tables. Not quite the private lunch we wanted.

Took a chance on this place as the Elliot Arms was busy. Pleasantly surprised, had a lovely pint of ale, the wife had a very reasonable glass of red. We both had the pudding options, I had the beef; and the mrs had the lamb. They where lovely. There was an offer on Prosecco, and it was a very nice one"bella cucina" We had icecream for dessert which was nice although the scoops where on the small side(one of the only negatives i can think of). The final bill was quite reasonable, and overall it was a good experience and I will visit again.
