However, first time walking through the door and the man behind the bar had absolutely nothing to offer by way of a welcome except an attitude and a lecture about not leaning on the bar while being served and standing behind a line. Fine, but this obviously didn't apply to locals, and he made not a mention of the track and trace. Yet another traditional pub that will fade into obscurity without ever realising that a welcome and a smile count for a lot and that a grumpy sod behind the bar ensures that people liked myself who could be a fairly regular visitor will not return. First and last visit.
