What an absolute banger of a pub this was to experience. It’s like stepping back in time at how pubs should be. Really nice beers and ales on tap and a absolutely huge beer garden. Covered and uncovered seating for any weatherService: 5/5
Great pub with ample gardens. We were in the area having visited an emergency vet. An uncle ran the pub in the 1950’s, I’d never been, so it was an interesting place to visit for a drink.Service: 5/5

Payed a visit to this establishment on Monday 22 January 2024. Looks nice from the outside and is pretty nice on the inside but unfortunately there is a terrible smell in the place. We ordered three pints from the very friendly barman. Again I have to use the word unfortunately as the pints were not up to standard, they had a taste you get when the lines are not cleaned very often. Anyway we asked the barman what time would be be closing ,he told us a time but I'm afraid his boss put paid to that and told us he was closing the bar. We got the feeling that we are not welcome in the place by the ignorant comments he made towards us. I hope other people have a better experience than we did. The barman deserves to be working for a nicer boss.

This is a lovely, welcoming pub, we recently had a funeral wake here, they did a fantastic buffet at an excellent price, which was set up very professionally in a separate room. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly, there's a beautiful beer garden to the rear. We were all made very welcome by the landlady and her team.... Thank you all for everything you all did..... See you soon.
