My car went in for a recall, I was told they would do a courtesy health check , I was contacted with a video to say my rear diff had a leak , I was advised the work would cost £579, I thanked them for taking the time but i would take it to my bmw approved garage to be repaired. I did this to told there was nothing wrong with my car. This is not the first time this had happened and when I did trust the garage initially because I had a warranty with them every time it went in for a service or mot they got d something that required fixing and it always cost around £500.nMarcus Wang you should be ashamed of your dealership , how many people never challenge your recommendations??? Your service when buying is fantastic your after service is shocking, I am referring to 12 years of dealing with you not always through choice.
I have always been happy with Eastern Western motors and would have given it a 5 star rating. Between myself and my partner we have purchased 4 new vehicles from them.nnAs I have not been doing many miles my car is now just over 10 years old. Rust has started to appear under 2 front wheel arches. So I took it in for inspection under the anti corrosion warranty. Unfortunately I received the most unfriendly, offhand and rude service from the Group Warranty manager.nnHaving received an email from him he said he would not repair the car and suggested not confirmed through inspection that it was caused by stone chips rust was bubbles under the paint and claimed/ assumed my car had not been maintained in accordance with BMW intervals, which is incorrect he never asked me, he just assumed. He then demanded that I provide a receipt for every lubricant ever put on my car for the last 10 years!!nnHe has totally destroyed the customer relationship with us after all these years. I have now spoken to BMW UK and will be taking my car to an alternative BMW dealer for a true inspection! I honestly believed that the hour I spent sitting waiting during the inspection that he did not do anything. He certainly never came and spoke to me while I was waiting to discuss his points or ask me about the servicing in which case I would have shown him my service history.nnI feel bad as all the other staff at their dealer have been faultless. However this has soured my dealings with this company who were clearly not interested in honouring the anti corrosion warranty.
Very poor services. Waited months to get my car in for repair because they are Mercedes approved garage. It’s a joke!n1.5 months wait for its estimate and 2 months wait for a courtesy car.nFinally got the car in. Told me everything was ready to go. It takes 1.5 weeks to complete the work. 3days after phoned me they are waiting for parts and don’t know how long it is taking. 5 days after told me the car isn’t repairable and gave a repair cost at £11,000. It was told £6000 at the estimate.nMy car was completely ok to drive when I took it in. And Now they told me my car has no tyres and headlights and not able to put them back up???nAbsolutely ridiculous and waste of a time and energy. No one apologises or seems to care. Avoid 100%
Gavin was so helpful and understanding when I had to sell my late father’s car. I got a good price for the car and the whole process was seamless. He made a difficult situation a lot easier.nMany thanks Gav
They took my car in for 2 days only to change 1 wiper even though I asked for my breaks to be fixed and all wipers changed. I still have the issue 2 months later, despite their promises all would get done. Terrible service
