Thank you Arnold Clark for my new fresh wheels. My sales Representative was patient and explained everything with stuff I wasn't clear with and made sure I had a good understanding. Finally choose the car I wanted and came to pick it up which was a 4 hour drive but was running late and they called me to make sure I was OK and safe which made my experience even better. Signed paper work off and had a quick chat with the manager which he was friendly and easy to get along. Will deffinatly be calling this place up for my next purchase and recommend any arnold clark branch for your cat purchase. Thank you David Dempsey!
I bought a Vauxhall Astra from this branch in 2020 and was absolutely delighted with the service I received. After a less than positive experience with another branch the staff at AC Vauxhall in Livingston could not have been more helpful. They delivered the car to me in Fife with a full tank of fuel. The car was in spotless condition and excellent value for the cost. I have now been driving it regularly for over two years and it has been extremely reliable. The first MOT went through with no work needed and for the amount of miles I’ve done it has needed very little spent on it. I will definitely be returning to Arnold Clark Vauxhall in Livingston for my next car!
I had done all of my car service and mot there, as it is near my home. Generally, their service attitude is ok. However, it had happened twice that they did not return my car wheel locker nut key after mot and car service. The first time I asked for the same day after getting me car back and found no wheel nut key and they found it back; the second time happened again, however, I forgot to check immediately and realized this problem a few days later. I do not know whether they can find it back or not. I feel very upset! I do not want their service anymore. After the upsetting weekend, on Monday, I called firstly and then went to the branch to ask for the wheel locker key, fortunately they found it in their branch. This careless thing happened twice, and I can't see they have responsible sense. Because of their being so careless, after getting my wheel lock nut key, I had a check of my car wheels and found that in one wheel, they did not put the wheel locker covers back. I returned to the branch again to ask for the four locker covers for that wheel, and they answered that they could not find them and promised that they would replace new ones, however, they did not know when the new covers would come and asked me to wait. I do not know how long days, weeks or months I need to wait for. Because of their being so careless, I dared not to have them repair my car brakes. When they did my car MOT, they advised to repair my car brakes and showed that they have the suitable new brakes in stock, so I paid and hoped that the MOT and brake repair can be finished in one day. However, after the whole day, only MOT done and light bulb changed, and the brake repair needed to be done on another day. After the wheel key and wheel locker cover issues, I really dared not to let them repair my car brakes and asked for the refund. The refund had been done after several days' waiting. However, still no call or message from them for the wheel locker nut covers after one week waiting. Called them after one week waiting and was told that new covers were available. I drove in and the issue was then sorted out. I admit that I was really really really unpleasant and annoyed by the whole inconvenience caused, but fortunately, these issues were sorted out at last. In the future, I will consider whether back to them or not. My suggestion to them is: their staff should avoid being careless, and when they finish work, they need to give it a thorough check.
I found a car online I'm in Yorkshire and it was in Scotland. I rung them and nothing was an issue. The sales manager gave me a great deal, then Brian Morris took over and he was fantastic. Kept me upto date at all times, sorted any queries and sorted my private plates for me ensuring a smooth transition. So pleased and even though they're miles away I'd contact them again for a car. Would highly recommend. Thanks Brian
Talked into buying a service plane And was not given any information on it was not told can’t be transferred.not told if I sell the car you can’t get a refund even although the service plan was not used never Given any advice on it They just want a sale and bottom line is I was miss sold a service plan When I traded the car in and bought a new one I was told then I could get the plan transferred and after 6 months of constantly phoning to find out if it had been transfer they finally say it can be transferred and no refund so £100 free to Arnold Clark When they sell you a service plan they should provide you with a book to tell you all the information of what you get and what you don’t .And when being sold a plan ask for the information or they’ll gust take your money and wont give you any information that should be given by law or your being mis sold a serves you might not want Apart from this misunderstanding This is a really good branch to purchase a car from Iv bought 2 hear and had a really good experience and mostly been given correct info apart from the Service plan
Bought a car from here last week Danny and Grant were great looked after all my needs. The whole team in Livingston are friendly and attentive.
Avoid at all cost's for any servicing work i had to give 1 star 0 star's isn't an option car was in for a full service no oil added warning came on after approximately 3 miles they came and added approximately 3.5 litres on my driveway then took it back to the branch to reset the warning lights and hopefully show one of their fitters how to put oil in a car engine thankfully my car was ok.
Absolutely Brilliant Service. Dealt with David Dempsey who was excellent throughout. Had gone for a break to Edinburgh and just saw the Juke on the Website. Made a phone call on Sunday afternoon and in less than 24hrs drove back to Halifax in the new car. Would definitely recommend David and Arnold Clark
Can’t thank the sales team enough, when I bought my car from them, they couldn’t do enough for us, they noticed we had a couple of dogs and fitted a dog cage they had lying in the store, free of charge. Same goes for the service team, had to return our car due to my own fault, and they fixed it for us without complaint, and gave me some good advice on how to treat a flat battery. More than happy to give 5 stars.
Had a Rude customer service. Very rude way of dealing with customers looking to buy cars .managers teach your staff to be polite with customers. Don't recommend to go this dealer at all .
